You know what would make it more awesome?

Is if Lori bit the dust in the season finale. It would then go down as one of the greatest finales ever!

I wonder if what Rick hallucinated is the virus actively eating what was left of the old Shane and spreading out before finally resurrecting him? I think that was just a visual representation (the eating) of what happened to the TS-19 subject.

If so...even more also they would still allude to that a season later!

On the Talking Dead they mentioned the possibility of the virus going Airborne thus Beth's "state". It made me think about the season 1 finale and what the scientist whispered to Rick...and he may have told Rick that the virus was going to go airborne which would explain the scientist's hopelessness

Lori continues to be the worst character on the show. Stuff with Shane finally blowing over let me go tell him the baby could be his and that maybe I did really have feelings for him at that time! Idiot.

Then once again mother of the year fails to keep an eye on her child, this time while there is an escaped prisoner that is armed on the loose (even though there wasn't what kind of parent would you have to be to let your child out of your sight in that scenario?).

I really hope she gets killed off in the finale, I love the show but can't stand her character.

Lori will continue to be the most annoying character on just about any show until she bites it.

If that were the case then getting bitten and scratched wouldn't matter.

Plus, Dale never reanimated when he died.

Dale was shot in the head though, which would prevent him from coming back if that were the case. I am not sure if that is where there going with the story, but it may have what Jenner whispered to Rick at the end of season one. I seem to remember Rick shooting the fat guy in the bar in the head, after he was already dead a couple of episodes ago. Wouldn't explain why he didn't do the same at the end of this episode though.
