HP Touchpad 16Gb - $99 (32 Gb - $149) 8/20
This is a helluva deal for people that are on a budget and want a tablet. HP is getting out to of the hardware business and this must be a casualty.

I love WebOS. It's a damn shame that HP hasn't done anything with it. I'd definitely buy one of these if I had the money to do so. -

I ****ing hate the people on slick deals. Everyone on there's buying 5 or 10 at every store to resell them on Ebay or Craigslist. I called one store that said a guy came in a couple minutes ago and bought all their stock. HP should have put a 2 per person limit or something.Follow me on Twitter: @ADice15Comment

I wouldn't buy anything HP. They just announced this week they got of the PC business, tablet business and cell phone business.
Hell even Best Buy is offering refunds now for people who bought their tablet.Comment

I got the only 2 that we at my local Walmart. Took about 5 minutes of talking with the manager and him waiting for the price change to hit the system. Apparently the price drop didn't hit every store at the same time.
Dead OS or not, this is an upgrade to my rooted Nook Color....which was $200 + $15 for a 4GB SD card to root it.Comment

The crazy thing is that the new price didn't hit all the Walmarts at the same time. I literally had to sit there and wait for the price to change.
The manager said let me take your name and number. I'll call you when the price changes, then went back into his office. The person in electronics then locked it back up with no note or anything on it.
Needless to say I sat right there and waited.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 08-20-2011, 02:44 PM.Comment

HP is really pissing me off now, I got to the final step of checkout and it crashed.Follow me on Twitter: @ADice15Comment

Don't know how I missed this thread, but just retelling what I posted in OT... Anyone who previously bought this at hp.com's store can get a price match-refund, they will waive the 21 day limit for early adopters...
Good luck to you guys hunting for them in stores!Comment
