I'm not hating. I was giving my opinion based off the first two movies.

Every observation/prediction that differs from yours isn't hating.

Im not gonna argue with you, but im going to say this.
If you hate the movies, dont come into this thread which is OBVIOUSLY for people who want to see the movie.

If you saw an early screening or something and thus basing your opinion off the actual movie, then by all means do it.
But, you are just hating because you hated the last two.

I'm seeing this next week. I thought the first one was great. The second one was a lot better then I expected, so I'm interested in how the 3rd one is going to turn out. I love these kinds of movies and even if it is just ok I'll enjoy it.

I never said I hated the movies, I said they sucked. Hate is a strong word and I don't really use it.

The thread is to discuss the movie and I can express my opinion here if I want. I don't see any rules saying I can't come in a thread and say I disliked movies. Take the good with the bad and quit acting like a toddler because everyone doesn't share the same feelings as you.

Hope to go see this on the weekend.......the first movie reminded me so much of the Blair Witch Project hype when it was originally in the theaters.

I had tickets to see it at midnight tonight, but I'm working at 7:00, so that's a bit of a no-can-do now.

Yes, the tag line they have is "the last 15 minutes will mess you up for life".

They are right. LOL This one is definitely more active than the previous 2.

Best one of the 3, just an awesome look back at how the activity began. I already can't wait till PA4. Best horror franchise in a long, long, long time.

Cool, thanks guys......now I can't wait for tomorrow to check this out. My wife and I were watching the first one last night and plan to watch the second one again tonight. Watching the first film again, you can see some subtle clues of things that were discussed in the second film and then tie into this third film. I wonder if the writing team put those things in there from the beginning for sequels or did they look at the first movie as a single film and when success hit they had to take the SAW route by trying to fill in the gaps.

Can't wait. Does PA3 take place all in the past and is there also present time events? Which I think there are also present time events since in the one preview I thought I saw someone (spoiler), LOL!

Fast forward, you then see a little more of the after affects of the break-in and find that the VHS tapes are missing. Then the tapes begin to play. The entire rest of the movie is set in 1988. Also, almost every scene from the trailers are NOT in the movie. Like, none of it.

As a huge fan of the series and horror movies at large, I have misgivings about the ending... but I greatly enjoyed the movie. Awesome, fun experience for a midnight showing. B+

I had the worst midnight experience ever.
I dont even think I heard 60% of the dialogue in the movie.
I had no idea what was going on cause everyone was talking and being ridiculous.

I dont know how many times I had to tell these "hard" people behind me to be quiet.
I really should have gotten my money back...
Oh well. Ill catch it again when it gets to the dollar theater.
From what I saw, I didnt even like the movie. Hopefully seeing it again will make it better
