Does anyone here use Turnable.fm? I've been using it a ton lately and it's a lot of fun. The basic idea is that you have a room with a theme and there are 5 "DJ's" who play a song in their playlist. I've really enjoyed it and they have a ton of music to choose from. I've yet to find a song not on there, but if you can't find one, you can upload it to your playlist. I'd love to get an OS room going sometime.

Might have to check this out sometime. I have DJ Mixer as an app on my phone so is it the same as that?

I don't think so. It's not based off of mixes. There are rooms that are for mixes and mashups, but generally, it's just people taking turns playing music. People also vote if they like your song or not. You get points for every person who likes the song that give you more avatar choices or something. If your song is voted too low, it gets skipped. I was DJ'ing in a 90's Alternative room last night for a couple hours and you got a really good mix of stuff. There are a ton of different rooms. Anything from rap and R&B to alternative to jazz to Christian to dubstep. You can also create your own room and do whatever you want with it.

It's in beta right now, but all you need is a Facebook friend that has it or to be following someone on Twitter who has it. Try following me @cma1093 and then sign up. I'm pretty sure my Twitter is linked to it.

I don't FB. Created an account and got into turntable without having anybody on my friends list.

Oh okay. Idk how they handle invites, I just know that's a surefire way to get in.

Nobody on my FB has this and when I typed in my email and answered the question they asked so I could receive an invite, it told me to try again?
