Yeah, they get a lot of love in the TurnTable room I posted. A lot of people from the NY/Connecticut/Massachusetts area so a lot of local-ish music gets played from there. I've found SO MUCH great music listening on there and really focused on the music I enjoy the most (pop-punk genre, though I spread out as shown).

"The Cascade" is an amazing song. Here (sweet video as well)...

Anything off of Third Eye Blind's first 3 albums. (Their most recent one has some good songs on it too but there's also some duds haha)

I'll have to think of more specifics lol.

Third Eye Blind's "Blue" album is AWESOME. I think it was a suitable follow-up to their epic self-titled album (the one with the hits, like "Semi-Charmed Life", "How's It Going To Be", "Losing A Whole Year," etc).

For music discovery, download Spotify RIGHT NOW. It's free, it's legal, and it's awesome. Basically a fleshed out version of Pandora. I've found it to be great for music discovery. You can search for an artist, and when you find it, look for the "related artists" tab. Viola! New music discovered. And as you click to different bands/artists, it'll bring up artists related to them. You can spend hours discovering.

I think Out of the Vein is Third Eye Blind's best album actually, but of course Self-Titled and Blue are great too. Ursa Major is hit and miss.

I really like Stone Sour but that's not one of the tracks I like. I typically don't go for their slow stuff, although I randomly liked the song Bother when I was seemingly the only one. Like seriously everyone hated that song lol

As far as Third Eye Blind goes, I'll admit I've only heard the main cd with the hits. Out of all those big songs though, my favorite from the disc is In The Background. I was in HS when I started getting into it and that song kinda struck a chord with me.

I don't mind slow songs by heavy bands haha. And the meaning behind Zzyzx Road makes it even more powerful.

As for Third Eye Blind, one of their most powerful songs is God of Wine:

I think their first 3 albums are all solid from beginning to end.

Love Stone Sour. Bother is an amazing song, but my favorite by them is probably either Hesitate or Through Glass.

Another good song maybe would be Ghost of Days Gone By by Alter Bridge, a lot of songs by Creed like "With Arms Wide Open" or "One Last Breath" might be down your alley as well. Another one that comes to mind is either Scars or Lifeline by Papa Roach. Also 100 in a 55, Monster You Made, or Stepping Stone by Pop Evil. Also, definitely check out Sick Puppies, they might be your kind of band as well.

I never really had a problem with Creed like most ppl seem to. I thought the first album was outstanding. I didn't really follow them closely after that but I agree "With Arms Wide Open" is very good. I like the song "Bullets" too.

I think Papa Roach is pretty underrated, "Broken Home" was a good song, and I always liked "Time and Time Again".

Creed and Nickelback just get a bad reputation because they wrote formulaic alt rock. They aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Personally, I like a few songs from each, but nothing I'd pay money for.

Creed's instrumentation was actually decent/capable of mainstream success, but Scott Stapp was just a unapologetic dillhole so that band never really stood a chance when everybody figured that out, haha.
