Can also recommend some solid Power Metal too.

I’m usually a hip hop guy but needed to get into something else. I remember my late uncle’s favorite band was Dio and I actually never listened to them or atleast paid attention to it growing up.

I actually used to be so scared of his Dio poster on his wall lol.

Man, Ronnie James Dio has quickly become one of my favorite vocalist ever. I can’t stop listening to the Holy Driver album.

If anyone can suggest more singers like him would be greatly appreciated.

There's quite a few bands I've found in my quest to find some Metallica-esque metal over the last couple years.

There aren't many of those quite exactly, but there are a lot of Maiden-y, Dio-y style "new wave of British heavy metal" style.

Try Jorn and Lords of Black. There's a few others but their names popped up in my mind first.
