I'm not so sure it means Ted and Robin get back together. Especially since we know Robin has feelings for Barney still. But there was an episode in season 5 where Ted and Barney both decide they want Robin back - maybe that happens again. But I don't think we're heading for another Ted/Robin relationship, especially since we know she isn't the mother.

I think Victoria's quote sets up the Barney/Robin wedding. Nora(is that her name?) is probably the ducky tie metaphor. I'm a little pissed Victoria only lasted for basically one episode too.

I agree she kissed Ted and realized she needed to go to the man she loves which isnt Ted.
She has moved on, no need for her to continue on the show.
Great episode last night! I really think Barney and Robin get married and Ted realizes he is the third wheel.
I dont know what it is maybe her hair? But i dont think Robin is near as hot as she use to be.

Awesome episode. First two were funny, this one was hilarious.

And about Robin, yeah, she does seem different. She looks thinner and it's almost like her breasts disappeared. Post-pregnancy/The Avengers maybe?

Yeah i think you are right.
There was a time i thought she was one of the hottest women on TV.
She was wait for it Legend--ary! Not anymore, the hair just doesnt work for me.
And yes it looks like pregnancy robbed her of her boobs.

And then my other suggestion, which they never used, which I think would be so funny, is — it's the future, right? I think in one of those scenes, they should open the window, and it should be, like, a postapocalyptic wasteland outside. It should be like I Am Legend. Horrible mutants.

If they did the first thing, where the mother's been dead the entire time, it would be ****ing nuts. I almost wish they'd do it.

For a second, I had a dumb theory run through my mind that Robin is the mother, but like before when she dated Ted then went to Barney, she divorced Ted and went to Barney. And that's this whole thing about the setup with three of them not working.

It would be dumb, but it did cross my mind.

I don't care what has happened to the mother in the future, it really isn't part of the story. That is just a small thing that is extra that they could do for the fans, but it doesn't matter either way.
