Almost done S2 of Series of Unfortunate Events.


I hate how what seems like the biggest mystery of the final few episodes got spoiled for me. That was literally the only thing from the entire season I got spoiled and it just happens to be THE spoiler of the season. Given the big mystery/swerve of S1, I really wanted to be surprised by the S2 twist.


Since everything else is ending, just gonna finish off the final 2 episodes of the season next week.


S3 is already done filming too. Would be nice if they released the season in December, but I think it's probably gonna be an early 2019 release.

Finished up Money Heist. Strong thumbs up. Think of a 22 episode version of a mindless 90s action flick. Good stuff

Just finished The Evil Genius documentary about the pizza delivery bomber. Pretty good, a lot of info I never knew about the case.

I saw a one hour recap about it on a show called CopyCat Killers. They talked about how it compared to the first Saw movie, which was kinda cool to see. Looking forward to watching the more in depth “recap” that’s on Netflix. Definitely learning more than I did from that one show.

Watched Cargo yesterday & enjoyed it. It's about a father trying to protect his daughter & get her to safety during a zombie outbreak. It's down to earth not over the top like some zombie movies. It takes place in Australia which makes for great picturesque scenery during his journey.

Just finished Season 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Greta show IMO. All the actors are great and I really enjoy the plot.


Started Season 2 of The Santa Clarita Diet. This show is amazing lol. So funny and everybody really meshes together nicely. Should finish this up soon.

Caught up on Evil Genius over the weekend. Like most Netflix programs it was overhyped and just ok.

Totally disagree, I thought it was pretty good.
Not sure what you were expecting going in, but it is a doc. Thought it was well done and it kept my interest for the whole 4 parts.
The thing I didn't like about it was the last episode and the guy who put the doc together kept going back to her and interviewing her over and over. Honestly I thought she was pretty boring and would have been done with her.
I don't know if they were really genius, more just scary.

To be entertained throughout? I found most of everything after parts 1 and 2 rather boring. Like I said, it was ok, but highly overhyped by those I know who had already seen it. As are most things Netflix rolls out.

I agree with you. It also didn’t help that the criminals weren’t actually geniuses, the cops just seemed very...moronic. Missed evidence all over the place. No cooperation between people.

I was entertained when I thought the mystery was because the criminals were actually that smart. Once I realized they weren’t and there’s almost a 100% chance they catch Bill, at least, if that “I saw a van...” piece of the story didn’t get completely ignored.

If I have learned anything after watching so many of these crime docs.
Its that small town cops are not always the smartest.
And I totally agree, they were not genius's.
I liked how they kept saying how smart she was and she kept saying she finished at the top of her close, when in reality she finished 12th out of like 200 in her class.
She also said she had 5 college degrees, when she really had 2.
With that being said I still enjoyed this doc.
