Another shout out to Rectify with two seasons out on Netflix. Last year I saw season 3 on The Sundance Channel. Last month the show announced the upcoming season 4 would be the last.

I recommend the book. I felt the movie handled some things well (the mothers struggle) but others not (the "incident" itself). The last scene is powerful though, for sure

I guess I should admit that I'm not a big Ezra Miller fan, so that didn't help, and I also just kept feeling like John C. Reilly was out of place.

The Best of Enemies. William F. Buckley vs. Gore Vidal: 2 intellectuals on opposite ends of the the political ideology spectrum pitted in a series of debates that paved the way for modern news TV. This documentary isn't for everyone, but if you like intellectuals in a direct battle, this was great. I was always taken back by Buckley's manner of speaking.

"Exit Through the Gift Shop". You think it's about one thing, then by the end it's a totally different thing. I never saw it coming.

Been meaning to watch that, but every time I go to do it I end up finding something that won't just make me angry.

Has anyone watched Kung Fury? I'm not even sure how to describe it, but I laughed a whole lot.

That's a complete bummer. I can see how not everyone would be attracted to the show but it's genuinely funny and the characters are all pretty awesome.

JareBear, what were some specific differences between the movie and book?
I kind of stumbled on the film last year by accident. I really, really liked this movie.
Some of the scenes had me laughing over Kevin's really poor behavior (the diaper scene was hysterical).

The ending certainly was disturbing, though. Very hard to watch.
