The Blacklist and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. don't care if they were mentioned. I'm mentioning them again.

I can definitely vouch for The Blacklist. 11 days to go for the season 3 premiere.

My favorite foreign or original series on Netflix is Wentworth. Does anybody know when we'll get season 3?

For those interested in the dystopian sci-fi genre, I highly recommend Black Mirror.

Beasts Of No Nation starring Idris Elba, will be released simultaneously theatrically and through Netflix on Friday, October 16th. Because it violates the "traditional" 90 day release window, the four largest theater chains in the US (Carmike Cinemas, AMC Cinemas, Cinemark, and Regal Entertainment) have boycotted the film.

The film has received critical acclaim. Rotten Tomatoes

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yeah, huge fan of Idris Elba. He was on Seth Myer's show promoting the movie, talking about how broke he and his pregnant wife were when he was doing auditions for The Wire. As many fans know he was first auditioning for the Avon Barksdale role, and then Stringer Bell came. He hid his accent and nationality for several days until one of the head guys asked him where is he from, and then he came clean. I never would have guessed he was British.

I just learned that apparently nothing is good to watch on Netflix and this could impregnate me for which I can receive 50K. Sweet.

Posted about this in the OS Neighborhood forum. Forget which thread though.

Not on Netflix, but I recently watched "Manh(a)ttan" on Hulu. It's a show on WGN that takes place at the site of the Manhattan project in 1944. From what I have read it's mostly fictional as they only use a few real names. It's still really really good if you look at is a drama that takes place during WWII and not a Band of Brother reenactment. Season 2 starts on Sunday.

I started up Twin Peaks last night and have become hooked on David Lynch's somber, macabre, and quirky world.

This is after going through 6 season of Parks and Recreation. Unfortunately Netflix doesn't have season 7 yet.
