I've read positive things about it. It's currently getting a 92% rating at RT's so the wife and I may have to check this out.



Outside of 3 or 4 programs on HBO and live sports, we basically watch everything on Netflix these days.



slickdtc, I have to check out that Ex-Girlfriend show as well. Sounds funny.

I have a similar experience with The Mindy Project. I usually read a bit before going to bed while my wife watches it.

I find I can't really concentrate as there is a lot of funny dialogue taking place. I usually end-up putting the book down and watching with her.

I'm not sure I've seen an episode yet that hasn't made me LOL yet.

Great writing and actors. Morgan is a trip.

Definitely recommend it. It's like a parody within a parody within a parody, making fun of the musical shows that got big over the last few years, with an over the top typical rom-com plot, and then incorporating jokes at the expense of recent sensations like yoga videos on Instagram and the holier then thou attitude some of those people have (or in general on social media).

You would think I've actually watched most of it! I mostly just face the other way and listen. I think that's a testament to the show that the dialogue can carry it without even needing any visual cues.

Been seeing The Last Kingdom, and contemplating adding it. I will now after reading impressions here.

Ex-Girlfriend will be added as well. The GF and I exclusively watch Netflix and HBO too. Some Prime since we have it for our business, and it is good for shows that are not on either. Like your Stargate's and the like. Own the box sets, but streaming is convenient.

Has anyone checked out The Last Kingdom yet? It's a BBC show based on Bernard Cornwell's "The Saxon Stories". Season 1 was added to Netflix earlier this month and the reviews have been positive.

This is one I've been thinking of starting up as well. Sounds very intriguing.

Binged thru the 1st and only season of Hunted. I liked it but totally understand why it got cancelled. After the finale, there wasn't much left to tell.

So while I loved Stranger Things, now that I think about it, it's still not even in the top five best Netflix Originals for me. My list goes like

1) BoJack Horseman
2) Daredevil
3) Narcos
4) Master Of None
5) Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
6) Jessica Jones
7) House of Cards
8) Stranger Things
9) Orange Is The New Black
10) W/ Bob & Dave

They're absolutely killing it right now.

Definitely check out the Marvel shows, arguably the best stuff Marvel has released, tv and movies.

I just finished season 1 of The League. Pretty funny show. Lots of potty/sexual humor.

I finished Stranger Things earlier this week. I enjoyed it, although I maybe didn't enjoy it as much as some of you guys who have the nostalgia factoring in (given I was born in 1992). Still, it was fun, and I definitely got the 80s vibe with the music and such.

We watched the movie called The Invitation last night and WOW! Great tense drama/horror movie. Very highly recommended, it's a really good one if you like an unpredictable movie..

Finished stranger things, due to watching everybody's recommendations on here, and a few friends urging me to watch it.

Glad I did, very well done. Suspenseful and engaging.

Been on a 30 for 30 binge, and restarted watching the Walking Dead.

And watched Fastball, and Iverson

I still wish Netflix had a better catalog of movies, although it seems like its getting better.

I can't complain too much though, because Netflix has some damn good content.

I was surprised to see Spartacus on there too. Thought it was a HBO exclusive?

Nice list! I definitely wouldn't put Master or Kimmy in front of Stranger Things but they are all great shows.

Unbreakable Kimmy Scmidt is that good? Although I'm tempted to continue to watch Bojack Horseman beyond it's first season I'd rank Stranger Things above it, Daredevil, Narcos, House Of Cards, and three that I couldn't finish-Jessica Jones, OITNB and Master Of None.
