Sorry guess I should have put that in a spoiler, but they way they release whole seasons on Netflix you would have to spoil almost every comment.
I would want to part of a thread in which almost every thread is in a spoiler.

          The Netflix stuff is tough.

I think anything that reveals too much should be spoilered. If it happened in episode 4, it's whatever. But if it concludes the story or it's a huge answer to a major cliffhanger during the season, and it lowers the stakes for what happens the rest of the season (for someone that hasn't had the time to binge), it should be hidden.

A lot of people have been able to talk about the show here without having to hide a lot. It's also the Netflix thread so I don't think anyone is coming in here to learn the ending of Stranger Things while watching Marco Polo Season 2.

Maybe Stranger Things should have had its own thread where it'd be open game.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Stranger Things has a lot of good things going for it. But the one underrated quality that stuck out to me is the score and soundtrack. The show does a fantastic job setting a tone through music (starting with the opening credits).

Hoping to finish the last 3 episodes sometime this week.

My wife has been watching Crazy Ex Girlfriend while I try to get to sleep, but I find myself just listening and laughing out loud. The musicals are hilarious. Even the intro song cheeses me out: "that's a sexist term!"

The bit on yoga was SPOT ON with some of our friends who've gotten in to it. I was crylaughing at that.

Now we're watching Stranger Things. We finished episode 2 last night and it's been enjoyable so far. I'm loving the 80's vibe. From what I've read things pick up after the second episode, so can't wait to knock a few episodes out the next day or two, then binge watch the rest this weekend.

I think the overall critical opinion, particularly the season two assessment, is less than that, but I don't care. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked season 2. They are definitely what you said in the spoiler. I hope I see more of Beau Bridges in season 3.

Yeah I really liked the music also...matter of fact there was one song and I don't remember where but when I heard it toward the end of an episode I immediately thought it sounded like something from The Killing show which to me also had great music.

Has anyone checked out The Last Kingdom yet? It's a BBC show based on Bernard Cornwell's "The Saxon Stories". Season 1 was added to Netflix earlier this month and the reviews have been positive.

I've read positive things about it. It's currently getting a 92% rating at RT's so the wife and I may have to check this out.

Outside of 3 or 4 programs on HBO and live sports, we basically watch everything on Netflix these days.

slickdtc, I have to check out that Ex-Girlfriend show as well. Sounds funny.
I have a similar experience with The Mindy Project. I usually read a bit before going to bed while my wife watches it.
I find I can't really concentrate as there is a lot of funny dialogue taking place. I usually end-up putting the book down and watching with her.
I'm not sure I've seen an episode yet that hasn't made me LOL yet.
Great writing and actors. Morgan is a trip.
