Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
What makes you say that?
I just finished powering through the 4th season and thought it was great. Maybe the best season of the show to date, imo. I didn't even plan to binge it like that but once I started, I just couldn't help myself.
At first I was a little apprehensive about the new cast additions. It felt like I was feeling what the inmates were feeling, like this place(show) is too small for so many more bodies. It was so necessary to the story though. As it went along, man...the finale hit hard right in the feels and everything leading up to that final moment felt natural.PS: You guys are great.

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
There's a movie called The Giver.
Great concept but kinda short.
Everyone lives in a community where they have no emotions, feelings or memory of how the world used to be (full of violence, hurt, etc).
One teen gets to experience all of the above.
Good movie to watch with the wife/gf.Comment

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Sat down to start Making a Murderer yesterday...8 episodes later I had to stop to watch the Finals and Game of Thrones. Man, im going to try to watch the last 2 episodes today because I don't know if maybe something happens that changes everything but this is really frustrating to watch. Obviously from a reality standpoint and not a filmmaking one, it's really well put together, but to see the system fail time after time in this process is extremely disheartening.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Watched the 9th episode of Making a Murderer last night and intended on watching the finale before the outage ruined those plans SMH. Anyway, is there a definitive article or source you guys are looking at for the evidence and information that was left out of the documentary?Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Yeah I found a few articles from him, hard to know what to believe when the people the made the documentary are saying he's making this stuff up and he's already killed his credibility. I basically have no idea what happened lol. Im reading a Slate article now about it.
This is problematic. It seems like the things that were left out are very important details in the case, I have to wonder why they were. Obviously the documentarians were telling a story but are they so interested in Avery's innocence that they just don't bother adding in information? Now THIS is almost as interesting as the documentary. What's the angle here?Last edited by DieHardYankee26; 06-21-2016, 03:00 PM.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix
Here's some great news for all of those that enjoy shows on the CW like Flash, Arrow, and now Supergirl. Netflix and the CW are near completion of a deal that accelerates the uploading of the shows on Netflix. Right now we have to wait until like September/October for these shows to be available (in the US don't know about internationally). But this deal is going to change that. It will have these shows become available at most a couple weeks after the season ends ala Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, which became available 6/16 and ended on 5/17.
