Well, then I guess she's doing a good job portraying this version as well! I know what you mean. It's an interesting way to go as well.

I don't recall the guy playing John (Toby Stephens) in anything else. But then looking at IMDB, he has quite the resume, including 13 Hours, which is a fantastic flick (although sadly).

Heavy female cast (no, I'm not saying it's dominated by fat chicks ). But another interesting diversion from the original. Therefore, I'm gonna consider the new Robot a dude!

Kodachrome. Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis and Elizabeth Olsen. Good watch about a father/son reunion as the dad has terminal liver cancer and is looking to have one last trek with son despite their estranged relationship. Not nearly as good as Around The Bend, which had a somewhat similar plot, but definitely worth a look. Olsen is a serviceable actress in this, but nothing earth shattering in her performance. I'm a Sudeikis fan, especially from We're The Millers, so I'll try him out in anything at this point.

My wife wanted to watch the new Netflix movie The Week Of with Adam Sandler & Chris Rock last night. 2 hours I'll never see again. Just horrible!

I absolutely hated Lost In Space.

I think I hated the casting for every character on the show. Mostly Dr Smith, I couldn't stand her frumpy ***.

I will say I watched the entire series, I kept thinking it would grow on me but it never did.

I preface this with 'for me' it was one of the worst Netflix shows I've seen recently.

Adam Sandler needs to just stop.
Go live in your mansion, enjoy your great life...But for the love of God quit making movies!
My GF starting watching it over the weekend and we got 45 minutes in and turned the TV off. HORRIBLE, just horrible. Not even remotely funny.
Believe me I am the biggest "early" Movie Sandler fan there is, I know almost every line to all of his early movies. But damn dude your recent stuff is just pathetic!!!!
I cant believe Netflix paid him what they did for him to sleep walk through these recent movies!

I've always disliked Sandler's movies, but even his current stuff draws big numbers, with probably fairly low production costs. IMO, the new stuff probably isn't discernibly different than the stuff from back in the day, so there is no reason for him and Netflix not to keep pulling in big money with mindless drek.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

He can either stay in his mansion or make more money to buy another mansion.

Netflix seems to be happy with the deal so something must be working. It's weird though. I have not met a person physically or online that likes the new films. So who are these people?

Well his fan base will apparently watch anything he's in plus his box office BN (Before Netflix) showed that base extends worldwide. In other words there are people that like these films and there are a lot of them.

It is however stunning that Netflix resigns Sandler to four more movies (eight total) on the heels of the "successes" of his first two. Those first two films were The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over which got a 0% and 5% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes. The streaming service claims these films were their biggest releases in their history and there are a whole lot of them under the Netflix Original Movie banner. I have no reason to doubt them because they're putting their money where their mouth is.

Kiernan Shipka's Sabrina The Witch story gets an official title which is exactly that of The comic series.
