Well his fan base will apparently watch anything he's in plus his box office BN (Before Netflix) showed that base extends worldwide. In other words there are people that like these films and there are a lot of them.

It is however stunning that Netflix resigns Sandler to four more movies (eight total) on the heels of the "successes" of his first two. Those first two films were The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over which got a 0% and 5% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes. The streaming service claims these films were their biggest releases in their history and there are a whole lot of them under the Netflix Original Movie banner. I have no reason to doubt them because they're putting their money where their mouth is.

Yeah, good article. The bottom line is that Netflix has a lot of data to help them make profitable decisions.

Kiernan Shipka's Sabrina The Witch story gets an official title which is exactly that of The comic series.

I'm hoping this will be good. I really liked her in Mad Men.

Anybody check out RAIN this weekend?
its new and was make in Denmark I believe.
I am 5 episodes in, its not bad. Not great but not too bad.
it kind of totally changes after episode 3.

I'm 6 episodes in and enjoying it as well. But man do I hate Dr Smith. That character just pissed me off every scene she is in. Ugh.

If you ever watched the original, then you would realize that this was so spot on. The original Dr. Smith was infuriating because every episode his selfish weak actions continually put him and everyone else in more danger. Even as a young child, his actions would cause me pain, as he time after time sabotaged the mission for no good reason, other than self preservation or arrogance.

I think they did hell of job with this incarnation. Really can't wait for a second season.

Oh yeah I agree. It's a spot on reincarnation from the original as far as *******ness goes lol. It doesn't bring the show down. I just can't stand her actions even though I know that's the role she plays lol. Ugh.

Collateral wasn't too bad, I feel like I've been dumping on shows lately, so it's nice to at least give a positive response.

Just started Money Heist and quickly realized it's another foreign show with English dub and the subtitles don't really match. Minor gripe, still optimistic

Anyone else watched this? I just finished Part 1 and give thumbs up, the suspension of disbelief is needed, but once you get into the groove of what the show is about it is wildly entertaining

I checked out the Australian series Wanted. After a couple episodes I was hooked , binged the entire series, 2 seasons 6 episode each. There may be a season 3 in the works according to the main character's twitter.

Santa Clarita Diet has been renewed for a season 3.

I would sure hope so...season 2 did a great job of setting the table for the next Joel and Sheila's next challenge.
