Have you found yourself questioning the authenticity of Dexter's accent? For me, the show was solid and I have no complaints other than nitpicking at his accent for some reason

LOL, I have never watched Dexter so I assumed he was British.
But then I read he wasn't so naturally I was distracted by his accent in Episode 3, haha.

With that being said, season 2 has been boring as hell to me.
I am 5 episodes in and it is a struggle to keep watching it.
I am not sure why they felt the need for a season 2.
My wife and I both enjoyed the first season also but after episode one of season two we both had to try and remember why we liked the first season. We will not be watching the rest.

I really think Park & Rec is a lot better if not viewed as the sibling to The Office.

Personally outside of the talking to the camera thing, I don't think they're anything alike and you have to stretch it to compare characters.

My wife has been pushing me to watch this show after she completed the first season (she had read the book first). She was surprised when I told her there was a Season 2; I don't think she has high hopes for it.

While my wife and I enjoyed the first season, to be honest, by the end of it, it just felt like a really bad idea. We really wanted no part of it going forward.

Finished all of Brooklyn 99 and must say it was a great, great comedy show. If it would've ended on that cliff hanger I would've been super pissed.

Just started Flint Town, which is a documentary on the Flint police department and I highly recommend people watch it to see some reality within policing.

                    Totally agree.
The girl killed herself and they blamed almost every kid in her school, her teachers, and her principle. At what point should her and her parents be part of the blame?
Its horrible in real life when a kid kills their self (I know understatement) but come on this took it to the extreme.
They crossed a lot of lines if you ask me.
Like I said before, season 1 was pretty entertaining.
Season 2 was a reach and crossed too many lines.
I would NOT want my daughter to watch this show or any teenager I cared for.
Especially season 2, it almost made it look like it was ok to kill yourself.

I'm weird with 13 Reasons, I'm through about 8 or 9 episodes so far and I don't mind the show, but the suicide girl character comes off as unlikable to me. My only complaint in general would be how they take the banter to the next level, like they're human google machines coming up with the best possible responses repeatedly mid conversation, it feels very unnatural for people to be that skilled at conversational wit

The banter is what turned my wife off in episode 1. I agreed with her but stuck through it.

Hmmm... Near critical acclaim. Yesterday the creator of the series said "Broadchurch is “absolutely” never coming back" so season three is probably it. It has a hefty eight episodes per season which is enormous for a UK show.

I'll have to check this out.

Thanks for the tip. This was really something. It's great (and rare) when the season finale pays off big time. Before this, I had only seen Olivia Colman in The Night Manager. After this performance, I might actually watch The Crown as she will play Queen Elizabeth in season three.

                              Can't wait for season two.

It seemed like the writers at Parks and Rec were just like, ok we've written you two (Ben and Leslie) with similar personality traits so you will be getting together in a romantic relationship now. I also think that Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski are better at doing that type of acting than Amy Poehler and Adam Scott, who are stronger with comedy. I almost wish they had kept Leslie Knope single and focused on her hijinx and neurotic quirks that allowed her to be so high functioning at her job. The Ann Perkins/Karen Filipelli character (basically the same character role for Rashida Jones) provided enough relationship drama for the entire show.
I always felt that the writers were so rushed at the end of series that they missed out on subtly creating some funny drama with Leslie being a mother. The triplets were an afterthought for the most part.
