They just gave Phillip the hardening he needed. Making sure he didn't give Merle the head shot, to make sure he turned. But he was nice enough to leave him a lot of food.

I was disappointed that Rick actually thought handing Michonne over would work. Great episode though... zombie Merle was cra cra.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)

I was expecting zombie Merle to look up and then say "Hey Little Brother!"

Good episode.. I'm glad Ranger Rick is no longer leading the group and has finally come to his senses that he can be crazy, but at the same time also be logical with decisions.

Great ending, but also sad. Norman Reedus had a great scene with his brother there. I probably would of acted the same way if that ever happened to me.

I'm thinking that he'll now become even more vocal and pro-active in the decisions the group makes.

This season is my first time watching show and it is overrated imo. The main flaw is that you never get the sense that the main characters are in real danger of getting hurt or killed by the zombies. The zombies are not really a threat, it takes very little effort to kill them, and as a result the slaugter of the zombies get repetitive and boring. They need to make the zombies smarter and more of a challenge/aggressive in the future.

So you haven't seen season 1 and 2? If that's the case we can dismiss this.

              The zombies aren't the threat.

Lori, T-Dogg (RIP T DOGG), Merle, Dale, and Shane have died, and they were all "main" characters.

Lori: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! I was happy, I didn't like her one bit. I remember back in season 2 when Andrea goes off on her in Hershel's house...

T-Dog: I was sad to see go...

Merle: Very sad ending for him, even though he was so rude and obnoxious...

                    Shane: Bye Bye *******

Dale: Was my favorite character. Almost cried when he died. He was in pain though after getting bit, so he went out the right way...

Umm... maybe you should go and watch first two seasons.

Me thinks this might be a troll attempt.

Sophia, as well, if you count her as a main character.

And if you're counting T-Dog (GOD REST HIS SOUL), then you almost have to count her.

I'm kind of afraid to ask this due to the comic guys (I know the show can be different than the comic, but sometimes it' not). No spoilers!

What do you guys thing the body count is going to be for the next episode? I didn't watch the previews (and if you did preview talk should go in spoilers) for the next episode, so I'm just shooting in the dark here:

I predict that the Governor bites it (probably at the hands of Andrea), Woodbury will get overrun and at least a two of Rick's crew going down.

I could see two of the following getting offed- Andrea, Carol, Herschel, Herschel's blonde daughter and possibly Maggie. Glenn, Darryl and Michonne have an outside shot of getting killed, but imo they are less likely to go.

Basically, the only two that I consider safe are Carl and "Little *** Kicker". I consider Rick to be safe, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him go. I would almost welcome it just to see how the group adapts.

We should start a death pool.

I'll take Beth. She's just the kind of useless-ish character that they would kill off for a bit of emotion.

I'm almost positive that one of Glenn/Maggie is going to die. Between the proposal and Glenn saying he cares about Maggie more than himself I think he ends up sacrificing himself. Also the sex scene between them a few weeks back, wouldn't be surprised if Maggie says she's pregnant next week, making it more likely Glenn will sacrifice himself to save Maggie if something where to happen.
