Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
OK that was amazing, and its changing things enough that I don't know what to expect. TYRESE!!
I used to like Andrea, but siding with the Governor, she's on my list now.
And how awesome would it be if Merle actually joined Ricks group after everything that happened. I'd really like to see that dynamic.
I'm glad that they're straying away with some parts of the comic. Tyrese is one of those cases.HELLO BROOKYLN.

As for Glenn saying "What is he doing here?"
I'm going to assume that the Governor let's Merle and Darryl go, but Merle really is an inside rat.. but at some point, has a change of heart.--

I will be finishing vol 2 and will probably read up to the end of volume 4 between this break. Loved the mid-season finale. Love this show!Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
This past episode was sick! A whole lot of action.
Seeing the season progress Im feeling like Michonne is definitely the villain to the governors' damsel. I mean he hasnt done a whole lot to her (well he did send out those guys to kill her meh I guess so) but she has like had a mega vendetta on him from the start. Now killing his daughter zombie pet and ****ing his eye up. I feel like he hasnt done all that much to her to make her feel that way; risking her life, camping out in his apartment and all that. In the comic hell yeah, but the show eh, maybe? Idk. Maybe I need to re-watch this half of the season in Feburary to get back into rhythm.
And the governor blaming things on Merle. I didnt think he was gonna take it there. But I love it, makes total sense. So thats the plot device to get Merle against the governor. I thought they were gonna grow mega balls and kill off Daryl right there. I dont think the audience has had enough reason to really really hate the governor yet other than the Maggie thing. But that was timid compared to the source material.Last edited by kingkilla56; 12-03-2012, 05:20 AM.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I also feel that the Gov and Merle set something up to get Merle closer to the group in the prison and see exactly how they're held up.
The look the Governor gave Merle after he was attacked implied like they were going with Plan C. Fake being ousted by the group, and with no one left, Daryl won't be able to just let Merle fend off for himself, so he brings him back to the prison. Merle then sets up the "Trojan Horse" and allows Team Woodbury to enter the prison late at night.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
I am going to hate waiting until February for new episodes.
The Gov. may or may not be legit in thinking Merle is a traitor. Merle did after all tel him that Michonne was dead. Then again, this would be a perfect way to get an inside man into team prison. I wouldn't be surprised if Merle ended up joining team prison only to let Woodbury in the back door. That whole confrontation would be the end of S3, similar to how this one ended the first half.
I have a problem with the gaping hole in the fence leading into the prison. When they first took it over, they mentioned Rick made multiple passes around it, and "if there was a hole, he'd find it". That's a pretty big hole to miss.Comment

And as for the hole in the fence.. remember that Rick and Co. only checked the perimeter of Cell Block C. I'm sure that the outsiders came in through a different Cell Block and managed to make their way towards Carl and Co. Plus they didn't really go into detail about what happened after they went through the fence. Next scene they show they're all held up in the boiler room.. So they could of had a long trek before they finally reached a place that connected them to Cell Block C.Comment
