Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
Yeah I understand that, but if they could that would be the way. The way the zombies are in this show, they should be secondary threats to other humans and the fight for resources. I don't think they are an afterthought, but it's been a year and they are predictable. Humans aren't. How compelling would it be that the biggest threat be something you can escape by briskly walking away?PS: You guys are great.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
The only way Zombies can scare them at this point is a shock (like the hole in the prison where any zombie can come through), a horde of zombies walking through them (like at Hershel's farm, or in the prison catacombs), or zombies entering play while they are in a gun fight with other people. Them running into 3 or 4 zombies is childs play at this point. Even Carl is making light work of them.
At this point in the story, the humans that have survived to till now know how to handle zombies. But its handling other survivors that is the problem. I think its progressing very well really from where they were in season 1 to now.Comment

I thought this episode was fantastic. I loved the build up at the endComment

The best thing they could to make zombies a serious threat and absolutely scary as **** would be to make them run. A zombie shuffling slowly at you? Yeah that's creepy. A zombie running at you and chasing you down the street? I'm ****ting my pants and calling for my momma. Running zombies have a scare-power level of over 9000.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
The show would be rather dull if it was just zombie attack, after zombie attack, after zombie attack. I do really enjoy when it is like that (ie the first few episodes of this season when they were clearing out the prison) just like any red blooded American. However, the show needs to be deeper than that or they would only have about two seasons worth of material before it got stale.
To be honest though, I do enjoy those type of zombie movies, but I don't want my Walking Dead zombies learning to run or adapting or anything like that. Keep them dumb and slow the way zombies should be.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 3)
With all of this being said...What do you guys think will be the "Big Bad" for next season?
Season 1's big bad were the zombies
Season 2's was real Shane
Season 3 is the Govenor and Woodbury
Any thoughts on what we could do for season 4 as far as an antagonist?Favorite Teams:
