No not neccessarily like I said I work with addictions on daily basis and have seen people who were high but you would never know. Same thing as alcohol they are whats called functional addicts and alcoholics. had a best friend who was one. People react to alcohol and drugs in different ways some get belligerent, some get violent, some just mellow out..Some act normal and you would never know it. Believe me there are plenty of athletes out there playing high or impaired from alcohol and you wouldn't have a clue..anyway back on topic RIP Whitney

In a 2009 interview with Oprah Winfrey she said that she never freebased coke, but her and Bobby Brown laced their marijuana with rock cocaine. Bobby also drank while doing this, but she didn't. At the time of the interview she said she didn't do weed or coke anymore, but did have a drink every now and then.

Re: Whitney Houston Dead at 48

What needs to be talked about is how people are literally getting killed from the grind of the music industry. Like Dave Chapelle said, if so many people resort to heavy drug usage and alcohol then maybe the industry needs to be looked at.

Also, the media is trying so damn hard to make Bobby Brown the "escape goat" in all of this. Did anyone watching the funeral see how CNN tried to hype up the situation with Bobby? Bobby released a statement clearing things up but CNN (Lemon) was trying hard to paint Bobby in a bad light.

It's not just people isolated to the music industry.

I read in an interview with Whitney on the net somewhere that she said she did drugs occasionally before The Bodyguard and more often after The Bodyguard. She was dating Brown during The Bodyguard.

It doesn't take a mathematician to discover he had some type of influence. Beyond that, to me, she had the ability to make her own decisions in her life.

I watched some of it on E Entertainment and his name wasn't even mentioned while I watched, which is a good thing. It should have been all about Whitney, not him.

I thought Costner was good, although Clive Davis' words moved me. I missed everything after that. I heard Winans was great. I'll catch that later.

                    RIP Whitney.

Man, some of you act like these are your close and personal friends. These are personalities and people make speculations all the time about personalities.... have done so for decades. No one is getting hurt here. I'm sure Bobby Brown could care less about others thinking he's in a villan role.

Yes it was. That playing of "I will always love you" while they carried the casket out was moving and had my family in tears. It was as if she was singing to the crowd while they carried her away. Classy funeral and excellent representation of down home church.

What a service. R. Kelly sounded incredible.

One thing that stood out was Whitney's security guard's speech.

Said how we as fans should love these entertainers as they really do give their lives to us. He said we should stop ridiculing them so much.

Might not mean much here but the context in which he said it was moving.

I don't want to go there and just let Whitney R.I.P....but if you really look into her past you'll see who introduced what to whom.

Bobby gets alot of flack...but take a second to think why he was able to kick his drug habit and others were not.
