Ryan Murphy dropped season three info today. At least the theme and intentionally vague hints at setting.

I am not enjoying this season much at all and after last night's episode I'm like thinking WTF. I'll ride it out till the end of the season, but I hope S3 goes back to what made S1 great imo.

Yeah, this season hasn't been great, I've enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as last season. I'm curious how it all ends.

The story hasn't been as good, but I'm loving all the homages and the production of it all. Lange has been amazing all season and that Name Game rendition was epic as hell.

I wasn't fully paying attention and had to go back to make sure that actually happend.

Agreed. At this point I'm watching more out of curiosity than actual enjoyment. I was excited when I heard that season was set in an asylum. I thought it was going to be similar to season 1 where we would see ghosts of people who died in there and what not... maybe that would get old... I don't know. Either way this has been on of the bigger disappointments from season 1 to season 2 (of a show that I like) in recent memory.

Lange and Sister Mary Eunice have killed it all season though.

I second that, Lange has been excellent yet again this season.

I was expecting the same thing with the ghosts appearing and us speculating what happened with them before they died.

It was awesome - straight out of Rocky Horror to provide some levity. I'm still really enjoying this season. The mish mash of horror tropes and elaborate production is fun and a hell of a spectacle to watch. Its amazing how different the two seasons have been, but I'm loving them both still.

The musical thing was horrible, I'm glad I had it DVRed so I could skip it.

Is it just me or does this whole Kit/Grace thing following the lyrics of Come Sail Away by Styx?

I still need to watch last week's episode. Was there a new one this week as well?

My TV Guide app is clearly not updating me properly.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Yes, there was a new one this week.

I disliked the Kit-Grace scenes a lot. Her "explanation" was fine with me in all its Kubrick-esque glory, but it just seems too perfect and I feel like there should be a lot more. I enjoyed this storyline up until this point.

All the Lana stuff was amazing.
