They set me back $189.99 each. But other then upgrading my GPU I am set for the foreseeable future.

So the Silicon Power Ace drives seem to hold up with my SanDisk at a fraction of the cost ($189.99 each). Hopefully they hold up. Pretty happy right now. Time to get some games on them.

Holy hell though. I knew the M.2 drives were super fast but I had never ran a speed test on them. That is just insane.</defaultaffinity=disabled></defaultaffinity=disabled></defaultaffinity=disabled></defaultaffinity=disabled>

How did you get the 3090! Congrats man.

My system is still z370 with a 8700K, I don't think I could get the most out of a 3090, but cant wait to get a 3080. Such a pain its that hard to find. Ebay prices are coming down so that's good. Need it before CyberPunk.

You can use just about any controller. I use ps4 controller for rocket league and xbox one controller for everything else. I only bought an Xbox one controller because it is plug and play and works for nearly every game

Razer Raiju Ultimate controller and sometimes an Xbox elite controller but I like the Razer a lot. My buddy has the Razer Wolverine which is laid out like an Xbox but I prefer the sticks to be the same level like PS.

I'm sticking with a 2700x myself for the time being.

I managed to snag one as multiple SKUs came in/out of stock at Best Buy. Was during an expected drop for some Gigabyte cards and managed to get a 3090 FE.

I monitored chatter/stock in this discord: discord.gg/stockdrops from this Twitter account - https://twitter.com/BotRtx

Check out this case. Would look great for a streaming pc or a media center for the living room. Can’t put a huge card in it but definitely would be open to see more pyramid cases.

Man this is so tempting lol. I tried an AMD card before and had a bad experience with it. Some games would crash randomly at the times and the drivers weren’t the best. If AMD can get their drivers right that would be great..

AMD Driver issues are usually at launch, historically. They are also way over blown most of the time.

I wouldn’t have buyers remorse, but AMD brought the fight and brings incredible value.

I agree in general, but I feel they've burnt so many people really badly, my distrust comes from an old Inspiron that they opted not to support my mobile card during a Windows transition (I had to use hacked drivers) and I even had the amazing Radeon 9800 Pro since then, but it also had driver challenges.

...that was more than 15 years ago. lol.

Anyways, I'd be interested in AMD's answer to DLSS. That's been a bigger game changer than the flashier ray tracing, which for even this generation of consoles and cards is a bit of a stretch IMO, a lot of work still to be done in that area.

The announcements today were great for gaming and competition.
