Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I don't think Walt will kill Hank unless he plans on killing Skylar too (she'll know it was in some way tied to him and would be liable to snap at that point). I think that would be way too over-the-top and a sloppy way for them to end the series.
I'd much prefer to see a confrontation like that "I'm dying to know" quote, but I'm confident the writers will find the perfect way to end the series. Can't wait.Comment

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I wouldn't be surprised to see Hank become Walt's Mike (if the writers go complete flip mode on us).
It would take a lot of convincing to do in 8 episodes, but we don't necessarily need to see Hank go full Mike; we just need to see it budding.
If the writers decide to keep people alive, I just assume that Walt will continue to run the meth game, Hank will be his muscle/security and the show will end with a new product hitting the streets.

That's an interesting take. I like tinkering with that idea in my head. Hm.I wouldn't be surprised to see Hank become Walt's Mike (if the writers go complete flip mode on us).

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I just don't see Hank becoming Mike. It wouldnt do anything for the story. It would kill one aspect, Hank being on Walter's ***, and recycle another wtih Walter having another Mike figure. It wouldnt be smart to do imo.Comment

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I see Walt going down in a blaze of glory, a la Tony Montana. If you recall, Walt was watching Scarface in one episode and really seemed into it. Would also explain the need for the LMG he bought in the 1st episode from this season. Pretty sure a LMG means something huge is going to go down.Comment

Hank isn't Mike.

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I heard rumors they may keep things open in case they want to do a movie.
I just dont see Walt dying even though it seems to be heading in that direction."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
Betsy Brandt (Marie) mentioned the possibility of a movie in an interview two and a half weeks ago.
I don’t know. I mean, there’s been some talk about doing a movie after, and there’s actually a really big fantastic director who’s interested in directing a Breaking Bad movie. I know [creator] Vince [Gilligan] will do the finale of this series, and I can’t imagine anyone but him directing it. But as far as like doing the movie afterward, I don’t know. It could be possible, or there could be no one left.
She would not divulge the "interested director's" name.Comment

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
I thought the way Mike died didn't really fit his character. I've changed my opinion after reading this interview:
Gilligan also addresses the Bin Laden reference which didn't make any sense when you consider the show's time period has been less than 18 months.
The one thing I didn't really like about this first half is that Jesse was treated like a minor character. I consider him to be the heart and soul of the show.Comment

Hmm... meth labs = big explosions. Must be Michael Bay. Any director worth a **** should be interested in this series, regardless.Betsy Brandt (Marie) mentioned the possibility of a movie in an interview two and a half weeks ago.
