So I'd always heard good things about the show but didn't want to watch any of them unless I could start from the beginning. And, I didn't feel like buying the DVD's. Enter Netflix, which is something I always kind of ignored. I've watched every episode over the last 3 months and I'm now caught up waiting for Sunday night. Definitely rose quickly near the top of my all-time favorite shows list. I wish I would have started tuning in a bit sooner though.

Re: *** Breaking Bad: Season 5 ***
Better late than never. I started watching the series less than a week before the March 21, 2010 premiere of season 3. In less than a week I watched the first two seasons (season one was only 7 episodes) and saw the season 3 opener only three days after it aired. So I'd always heard good things about the show but didn't want to watch any of them unless I could start from the beginning. As with several quality shows (The Wire, Arrested Development, The Shield, Mad Men) I got the scoop here at OS.Comment

While I thought last week's episode was decent, everything was on point for the new episode.
I loved everything about it. The new female character is interesting and I loved the back and forth between the Cops and Mike.Comment

This and the gif JB posted is why it's becoming uncomfortable to watch Walt's character evolve. I think it's great but it's just kind of hard to watch. Part of me is kind of rooting for him to get caught at this point. Not from a need-to-liven-things-up-a-bit standpoint, like in Dexter, but I almost don't want to see him go further and further down a dark path. I wonder what Walt's Sith Lord name will be. Darth Heisenberg?Last edited by SlimKibbles; 07-22-2012, 11:43 PM.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

I like his character. I do admit I've always thought of him by his character, Zack, from "Beverly Hills Cop" almost 30 years ago. Interestingly enough they are practically the same kind of character except Mike is much cooler.

I'll always remember him as Nolte's fellow police officer who gets shot and killed in the hotel looby by Dexter's father (James Remar).
Mike apparently compromised his "no more half measures" rule.Comment

Oh jeez....please leave the Star Wars comparisons alone...... not even in the same ballpark as far as the writing. This and the gif JB posted is why it's becoming uncomfortable to watch Walt's character evolve.
