Such an awesome villain! I love this cast.

Don Cheadle, to me, is light years over Terrance Howard in the Roady role. Just fits the part so much better.

Kingsley as Mandarin might be one of the best casts in all of Marvel villains to date. Having the Captain America shield as a tattoo on the back of his neck was just the topper.

3D is expensive enough - I can't imagine paying $25-30 for a single ticket.

So I just saw the movie.

1. In my opinion, it is the best Iron Man movie yet. Definitely better than 2, better than 1 depending on one's point of view.

2. The first two's villains were under-developed; 3's is light years ahead.

3. It is a FUN movie.

4. If 1 and 2 were Sci-Possible, this is definitely Sci-Fi. Which is fine, because of the Avengers.

5. I only watched two trailers, and there was something I definitely did not see coming. And just to avoid hinting at spoilers without actually spoiling anything (I hope)

there is a twist that will certainly divide fan opinion, especially comic book readers who have an inkling of Iron Man lore.

I'm of the opinion that it is brilliantly executed, but the "reward" is underwhelming. Maybe even disappointing.

Yes. I really bought into Mandarin as a terrorist and thought Kingsley was bordering on great until the twist. Then it just became "Ehhhh.... Seriously?"

And considering what happens in the movie, doing the Mandarin RIGHT wouldn't be hard to do. Ten Rings of Power after Thor and Avengers isn't campy if done right. When a guy breathes fire because of Extremis after the twist, it just highlights the disappointment more. Totally missed opportunity here.

Still a really good movie.
