Did you know? David Letterman never wears the same tie twice.

During the Cosby Show run, Bill Cosby often wore sweaters made by fans and sent to him on the show.

On the show Full House, the character Joey wore the same shirt that was on the mannequin in his room.

Hoover provided them the info after attempting to blackmail the Kennedys into providing more powers for the FBI in exchange for keeping it under wraps.

The best thing to happen JFK was being shot because his legacy remained intact, had he lived he would have ousted from office with a scandal that would have made Watergate seem like child's play.
I am guessing he would disagree that the best thing to happen to him was being shot and killed! He would have eventually recovered from any scandal he was involved in. Ask Nixon if he would have rather been killed or went thru watergate. Lol

Well obviously no one would want to wish death upon themselves but I think you are underestimating what kind of scandal that would have been. It was the absolute height of the cold war, it was a year after the Cuban missile crisis. And for you conspiracy theorists out there who need an additional reason why JFK would have been assassinated, this may have been a primary reason because the country would have been thrown into absolute turmoil if made public.

The public finding out JFK was an unfaithful husband (and I'm sure other presidents did it before him but it was always hidden) would have been shocking enough but to have had several booty calls with a woman with ties to the KGB where national security was at stake? It would have destroyed the entire Kennedy legacy, brought an immediate impeachment and Kennedy would have been portrayed as the biggest black mark in American history. It would have been quite a bit more serious than a bunch of guys breaking into a hotel. It might have even led to treason charges. He would have been the modern day Benedict Arnold.

JFK may have continued living but it would have been a living hell the rest of his life and destroyed any political aspirations of any other family members.

I'm sure some baseball fans would know this but it's a funny story so if you don't know it it's all good.

                  DID YOU KNOW?

Former pitcher Gaylord Perry once said that he'll never hit a HR until they put a man on the moon, well literally HOURS after the moon landing in '69 he hit his first ever HR.

                  Kinda neat eh?

I have read a ton on the Kennedy family and I AINT BUYING IT.
Everyone already knew he slept around so "just sleeping around" would not have been that big of a deal. As for the whole KGB thing if that was as serious as you are making it out to be it would still have come out once he was killed.

I'll just say this, You have to understand the context of the times. This was still an era where the public at large wasn't as cynical or jaded as we are today. Watergate alone proved how much the public was a babe in the woods in that area so to have it found out that the President was a philandering of the highest order would've been disastrous for them and for Kennedy specifically.

Although your larger point holds true, Kennedy would've been disgraced and out of office (probably lose a 2nd term) but like Nixon his image would be rehabilitated by the next decade or so.

                      Hope that wasn't too political.

Nobody back in the 60s knew about his affairs, what rock are u living under? All that stuff came out in the last 20 years. It was a much different time back then. Clinton was almost ousted from office just for getting g a blow job in the white house from some bimbo and that was in the 90's.

The reason it didn't come out was because he was killed, there was no point exposing him at that time. It would serve no purpose and the media would look incredibly bad exposing a man who had just been assassinated.

The woman in question, Mariella Novotny, was also planning to publish her dirty little secrets years later but then mysteriusly died from a drug overdose, just like Marilyn strangely enough.

Not to mention if this scandal came out then the others would have came out of the woodwork, such as Judith Campbell who was involved with big time mobster Sam Giancana who coincidentally was from Chicago which coincidentally was located in Illinois where there was some questionable vote counting during the 1960 election. Once the cat is out of the bag, the media would have been relentless in exposing JFK and there was a lot of dirt to dig up, even back to the 1940's when JFK was involved with a woman who had nazi ties. The scandal would have destroyed him and the country with it because the leader of the country was so careless with his libido and was willing to put the country at risk to satisfy it. Remember this was a time in the early 60's where they wouldnt show a couple sleeping in the same bed on TV shows like the Dick Van **** show. It was a very different time. JFK would have forced to resign within a week in disgrace.

Do you guys like my space facts?

Did you know? In 1929 Edwin Hubble discovered that the universe was expanding by measuring the red shifts of distant galaxies.

                          Also:

Believe it or not there are actually stars you can touch with your bare hands. They are called Y-Dwarfs. One of them is estimated to be less than 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the surface.

There exists a bacteria that you can see with the naked eye.
Thiomargarita namibiensis cells can grow up to nearly 1mm.

Please see the article below taken out of his wife's book that she wrote before she passed.
She knew as everyone else did of his many affairs.

They are believed to include the suggestion that Mr Kennedy was having an affair with a 19-year-old White House intern, with his wife even claiming that she found knickers in their bedroom.
And they go on to reveal that she too had affairs – one with Hollywood star William Holden and another with Fiat founder Gianni Agnelli – as a result of the president’s indiscretions. It has also been claimed that, in the weeks before Mr Kennedy’s assassination, the couple had turned a corner in their relationship and were planning to have more children.
Historian Edward Klein, who has written several books on the Kennedy clan, said: ‘Jackie regarded the pretty young things in the White House as superficial flings for Jack. She did retaliate by having her own affairs.
‘There was a period during which she was delighted to be able to annoy

Here is another one about Marilyn, and it says everyone know about rumors of the affair then not that everyone knew of them 20 years later.

Lawford was also responsible for organizing the 1962 Madison Square Garden fundraiser for JFK, where Monroe gave her iconic performance of "Happy Birthday, Mr. President." The sultry performance fueled rumors of an affair between the movie star and the president that still live on today.

Lawford was also responsible for organizing the 1962 Madison Square Garden fundraiser for JFK, where Monroe gave her iconic performance of "Happy Birthday, Mr. President." The sultry performance fueled rumors of an affair between the movie star and the president that still live on today.
LOL I'm talking about the general public, not JFK's inner circle of family and friends. Of course those around JFK knew he had a wandering libido but it was never reported in the press. JFK and Jackie were romanticized and portrayed as America's royal couple and the public ate it up.

In fact I think Robert Kennedy's main job during JFK's term was hiding all his indescretions from the public and clean up after JFK's carelessness and prevent any possible scandals.
