That may have been one of the best episodes of TV I've seen in a long time.-Rocky Balboa"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that." -

Carrie is finally exonerated. I can't wait to see what happens next.
What will Saul do with this new found evidence?Last edited by SidVish; 10-08-2012, 02:17 PM."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Re: Homeland: Season Two
Wow I didn't expect to see a Game Changer like that at the end of Episode 2. I was expecting the video to surface probably by the end of episode 11.
I imagine Saul is going to keep this information to himself or just share with Carrie.
I know Homeland is just a TV show but the CIA uses Skype? lol, that's really secure. Brody had to give up his phone when he entered the CIA Building but he was able to bring it with him inside the Pentagon....
Having to wait a week between episodes is torture.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
I love waiting a week between shows. Watching them one after another doesn't let you digest anything, or build anticipation. Part of the show is waiting a week (or from season finale to premiere of next season) to see what happens next. If I watch them one after another, I become detached and it becomes a chore.
Just like with the last episode. You see Saul has now seen the Brody tape. You say "oh ****, wow, what the hell's gonna happen?" and you think about it for a week. If you have it all lined up, you just click the next episode and watch it. Not fun, not exciting. Kills it all, IMO.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
Stupid Question but...
SpoilerHow did Saul get the Brodie tape? It was in Carrie's bag right? Did she grab it from the apartment, or did she have it in her bag from last season somehow?Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
I was thinking earlier today that the tape will get lost/destroyed. Then when Saul tells David about it he won't believe Saul saw the tape and Saul ends up looking like he's protecting/helping Carrie. Kind of mellowed out on that idea the more I thought about it, but who knows.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
It's certainly a different viewing experience watching it week to week as opposed to doing a viewing marathon. I remember glancing at an article this summer comparing viewing shows week to week or all in a row and deciding which way is better. I think it was at the AV Club.I love waiting a week between shows. Maybe I was expecting too much after last week, but last night was probably my least favorite episode so far. Whole episode felt like a giant time waster to me, to the point where I kept turning away and reading twitter instead of watching.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
They did a great job rehumanizing Brody's wife with the speech. The first two episodes she had seemed so unsympathetic, but it was good to be reminded of what she's had to go through.
I'm also glad that Saul didn't somehow lose the evidence or decide to sit on it, but is instead actually going to act on it. There's obviously no going back once that happens, but it also means the writers aren't holding back on the CIA finding out about Brody as a plot device to stretch things out.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
I don't think it was filler at all. Lots of development. Carrie's suicide attempt showing she's still incredibly unstable, Saul pulling some 24-**** (again) and doing the switcheroo with the SD card, the killing of the bomb-maker who's basically one of a few people who know about Brody, the failed marriage rearing its' head again and the doubts from Jessica growing, and of course, Carrie finding out that she was right about Brody.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 10-16-2012, 12:00 AM.Comment

Re: Homeland: Season Two
Just got caught up with the series. A couple things that annoy me. The story is great but I find the Claire Danes really annoying. The faces she makes when she's arguing or crying make me cringe like she's trying too hard. I also hate absolutely hate Brody's wife. The story is captivating but I think the acting (besides Saul and Brody) are not on the same level as Breaking Bad in my opinion. The Ohio State University
