Harrison? Hmm. Based on what he's said in the past, I think if the script is strong AND the right director is attached, he'd possibly consider reprising an older Solo in a limited role or cameo.

Carrie? She's fond of Star Wars, moreso than Harrison I think, but she would know she'd have to go through a regimen to get herself presentable as Leia. I think Mark and Harrison might have to cajole her a bit, if they are getting on board.

All speculation of course, but that's my guess in regards to that trio.
I wouldn't mind the trio back even if it is for small roles in Episode VII tying the old trilogy to the new one.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but I loved KOTOR 1 and 2 so hopefully they can do something interesting with the universe. I have a lot more faith in Disney owning the license than Lucas.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The Jags speculation is all moot. The NFL has a policy that teams are to be owned by individuals and not corporations. Even if they did allow corporate ownership an owner can't have stake in more than one pro sports franchise. The whole Wayne Huizenga thing was some fluke in the mid-late '90s.

Well it was more of a joke, but I believe they can if its in a certain region as Tom Benson owns both the Saints and the Hornets now.

              Re: Disney To Acquire Lucasfilm

George Lucas and Lucasfilm have given fans plenty to grumble about over the past decade, but as Disney prepares to take over the company, the filmmaker is going out on an undeniable high note. In 2010, Lucas committed to donating most of his wealth to charity by signing the Warren Buffet and Bill Gates Giving Pledge.…

Very classy on George's part to donate a lot of the profit to charity.

He may be a bit of a douche with the way he's handled the Original Trilogy but that's a very classy move on his part.

                Kudos to Lucas.

I agree. I've enjoyed many of the books and I don't want that to all go down the ****ter.

Classy and smart as hell as he's giving a lot towards education (read that on a different link).

Also of note from the article, three of the directors they are going to show the treatment of the script to:

Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Ratatouille, The Iron Giant)
                        Steven Spielberg
                        J.J. Abrams.

I'd rather have Bird or Stanton.

Abrams already has Star Trek. Could you imagine the amount of craziness that would happen if he got Star Wars, too.

A JJ Abrams Star Wars movie would be...really odd.

Brad Bird or Spielberg are the only guys who satisfy my star wars nerd.
