Re: World War Z
I always wondered how they were going to make a movie from the book, considering it's a bunch of short stories.
Totally with Candyman on the zombie waves. That seems a little silly but I'll still go see it.GT: Herkyalert

Re: World War Z
Those are some fast zombies.
Looks like a 28 Weeks Later knock off. Could be a decent rental.Comment

Re: World War Z
Those zombies look like they are on SPEED, 10x faster than the ones in 28 Days. Nobody could survive an onslaught like that.Comment

Are we really going through a vampire or zombie "fad"? I'm pretty sure that there has been movies/TV shows about one or the other ever since I've been watching movies in the late 80s.

Re: World War Z
Zombies are a bit "newer" but since the early '60s there's been zombie movies of one kind or another but again, that subgenre of horror gets really hot for a while then fades away. It's more "fad" than vampire movies but even when dormant there are still lots of movies (big budget and small) that takes some cues from the zombie genre. It's really super hot right now though.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: World War Z
Actually just reading the book now and it is nothing like this movie. I'm not trying to get all geeky on this but fast zombies really doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't dead things move slowly, amirite?Comment

Re: World War Z
They really need to change the name of this movie because it isn't remotely like the book. Disappointing because the book is fantastic.Comment

Re: World War Z
I haven't watched the trailer yet, but all the drama surrounding production has me not too hopeful.

Re: World War Z
These are more like I Am Legend zombies/vampires.
Hopefully that's just editing, but I very much saw some of them sprint. I don't know about the book but did the zombies SPRINT in them?Comment
