Looks dumb to me.

Not that it can't be a rinky-dink fun time at the theater, but I simply wouldn't pay to see this. Wouldn't mind playing it, though.

I want this film to succeed for two reasons:

Live-action
1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. Gundam Wing

Mostly for number 1 because I like my mecha to have existentialist, religious, political overtones with a dash of really hot women and a main character with daddy issues.

I have returned from a screening. The movie was great! Everything I wanted. Heart racing action and scale. You are put directly into a crisis situation and the characters all work well. As Del Toro says it's an adventure movie. It's not mindless action.

Anyone who is hyped for this will love it. I guarantee it. While i was hyped for Man of Steel and left a little disappointed...here not so! I only got to see it in a regular RealD 3D screen and have booked opening day IMAX. See it on the biggest screen you can.

The trailers and TV spots haven't shown ANYTHING at all. I have no idea how they kept so much hidden.

This is not another "Robot" movie. Guillermo del Toro is a master.

I really like the cast, but when I seen the trailer when seeing Man of Steel, it didn't look that great. Most of the talk about it seems to be positive though.
