So the reviews are starting to come in and things are not looking while. I thought this movie would get 75-85 RT score but so far there are 6 fresh and already 5 rotten. Hopefully it gets a lot of good fresh reviews in a row or hopefully this movie turns out to be one of those movies where fans like the movie a lot more then the critics.

The more & more I'm seeing, this film looks to be all kinds of bad.

Even though it's a JP flick, I'll be waiting for Blu-ray on this one.

Siiigh. I read this from a review:

"There is literally a scene in which the velociraptor nudges his head to a human pretty much saying, "I got this." Not sure if I wanted to laugh or cry."

I'll be waiting for the rental as well.

Was kind of expecting the reviews to be so-so since they were so late coming. Usually most big releases get the movies out to the critics so they can review it for promotional purposes unless they are expecting them to be bad. If the first reviews don't show up on Rotten Tomatoes until Wednesday of the week the movie is released you can normally expect the movie to come in below 60%.

Yeah that is what I have heard. I think dawn of the Apes did that last year though and it got like a 91.

While that is kind of cheesy but that doesn't sound that bad and for what it is worth since I posted earlier about the reviews coming in it has now gotten to 29 fresh and 13 rotten so far that is not bad so far even though not great and from what I have heard the whole Raptor being Trained thing was handled while.

I gotta be honest, as soon as I saw the trailer with people riding around in pod cars being bounced around like pinballs, it kind of lost some luster for me. I think it's pretty hard for any of the sequels to recapture the magic from the first film. It wasn't an action movie, it was more than that.

I love Chris Pratt but I just don't think I am pay to see this one.

I gotta be honest, as soon as I saw the trailer with people riding around in pod cars being bounced around like pinballs, it kind of lost some luster for me. I think it's pretty hard for any of the sequels to recapture the magic from the first film. It wasn't an action movie, it was more than that.

I love Chris Pratt but I just don't think I am pay to see this one.

While it doesn't have to recapture the magic of the first one. The first one was a classic. Not ever movie can be a classic. But just because a movie is not a classic doesn't mean it is going to suck either.

Sounds about right from the reviews I read on RT. Unless someone just isn't a movie theater goer it seems pretty dumb to right off seeing this on the big screen completely.

Yeah it sounds like it is a good solid movie just not epic, amazing.

Looks like it is going to easily make the "Fresh" list on Rotten Tomatoes. I'm glad because I was looking forward to going to see it at our local drive-in this weekend. Figure the dinosaurs will look really good and almost life size on the HD Projector on the big wall at the drive-in.

Nice I have never been to a drive in before and I am thinking about going and seeing it in IMAX and I have only seen one IMAX movie before and that was a stupid history movie when I was in like 4th grade or something.

We are lucky to have 3 drive ins within an hours drive from our house. All 3 are nice and well maintained plus all have installed digital HD projectors in the last couple of years. Rather go to the drive in over a theatre any day. We normally sit in our lounge chairs and bring our own food to tailgate. Two movies for $7 each ain't bad either!

I was hoping this movie was going to be darker but from the trailers, it looks pretty juvenile once you see those pinball scenes. Just your typical and forgettable action movie to appeal to all ages and try to make as much money as possible on the first weekend.

Is it just me or does the CGI in this movie look substandard? From those trailers, the dinos seem to have no depth to them and kinda looks like a Pixar movie in some scenes. I was thinking the original movie has more convincing effects. I thought this movie was using animatronics as well. Sure doesn't look like it from the trailer.

Are you talking about the part in the trailer where there are like 3 big dinosaurs at once? That part looks awesome! Yeah there are animatronics but I think less then JP1. I think JP1 was like 60% animatronics and like 40% CGI. I think this movie might be more like 30/70 instead of 60/40.

$7 for two movies is great. Last week they showed Mad Max and Poltergeist. This week is Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2.

Oh while I thought you said 7 not 7 for 2 movies that is crazy 3.5 a movie wow! While I think I am going to see this in IMAX.
