2nd biggest opening weekend with 203 million, I believe was reported this morning.

I loved it.

EDIT: Actual, estimated, numbers for the weekend: Predicted to do 204.6 million (2nd all-time behind Avengers' 207.4) domestic and a record 511.8 million globally.

Loved the reference to the first movie when the 2 kids stumbled into the visitors center all rundown. Not sure how many people in the theater caught that.

Wow just Wow first movie to make 500 million WW OW and the movie has already made around 145 million then 3 did. Also it is gong to be first or 2nd OW for USA.

One? Try 3 or 4 more. They'll milk this thing to death as long as it keeps making money like the F & F and Pirates franchises.It's much easier than coming up with original ideas for movies these days.

I think it did 5 things amazingly well

1- The theme pop when the kid opened the curtains. That gave me goosebumps. Perfectly executed.

2- The best product placement spoof since Wayne's World. That was excellent and got a good chuckle from me.

3- The return to the original Jurassic Park center. That was cool to see a statue of series of Jurassic make a callback and embrace it's roots.

4-DINOSAUR SOCCER HOLY ****. I said "dinosaur soccer" to my friend when the kids got in the bubble, just to be a smartass, but damn if they didn't make me a prophet. Indominus had an excellent through ball, the support was too focused on the goal to play the ball.

5- The final fight scene. Holy ****, the final fight scene. That was ****ing awesome. Yeah it was some Godzilla and Mothra ****, but it delivered.

The megalodon completely swerved me. I had completely forgotten about it and then BOOM.

The film did have it's flaws, like when the kid dropped the divorce bomb in the middle of the *** **** park. Like no, in that situation the kid was overstimulated and was vomiting rainbows.

But it was a pretty damn strong film, I'd give it a solid 8/10. Chris Pratt was basically Indiana Jones working in a theme park.

Went to see it on Saturday with my wife... We absolutely loved it!! Definitely the 2nd best out of the 4.

If anything, it was unjustified. She wasn't a bad guy or anything, and she never really was developed at all. It was kind of harsh to go all pterodactyl on her, then have her nearly drown before being lifted by another pterodactyl then swallowed whole by the mosasaurus. It was just crazy.
