    Re: Deadpool

Saw it on Friday. I was sold the moment Angel of the Morning started playing over the "opening credits". It was honestly so fun to watch, the only movie I had actual fun watching more than I did this was Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and I adore that movie.

The Sinead O'Connor and Professor Xavier lines got me good. I was a mess in the theater.

I giggled like a little school girl all throughout the movie.

I've always loved Reynolds, but this movie is something else man

Wow 135 million domestic opening weekend! Beats out all other X-men films and is the biggest R rating opening ever. Unbelievable but we'll deserved.

Hopefully Hollywood gets the memo and we start seeing R rated action movies again.

One of the reasons I really enjoyed it. Not a hull huge super hero guy, but this is a "hero" I can get behind.

There were a handful of kids 10 and younger there. *smh*

I've seen a lot of people comment about the weak plot..

can Deadpool even really have a worthwhile plot since he's so self aware?

Honestly...there's some PG-13 movies I would shudder to take younger kids to. The bar ain't what it used to be.

You must've missed the article I posted over the weekend then. It did 41.5MM on Friday, including previews on Thursday. And the article/Deadline predicted it to get to around 102.5MM over the weekend and 115.3MM with the 3 day weekend (including today.)

Comic books are so expensive. 35 bucks for a paperback. So I got this. Can't wait to read.
