    Re: Gravity

Killing it on Rotten Tomatoes (97%).

We were going to see this very early Friday, but it's all 3D or IMAX 3D until 3:30 PM, so we'll probably catch it then.

I saw this last night and I'm completely at a loss for words to describe this film. Believe the hype the 97 rottentomatoes score is legit. It's that good yes oscar nominations for best picture, screen play, directing, female in a lead role, and special effects are a lock.

I think I had about three panic attacks watching this film omg omg omg. Just go see it on the biggest 3D Imax you can find. This is not a movie you can experience on a 60inch tv in your home.

Why are you going to the movies? You should be focusing your attention on the PS4 version of the show...Just kidding

Im really looking forward to seeing this movie...just need to find someone to watch my kids while me and my wife check this out. She wanted to see this more than me but reading all the reviews has peaked my interest.

Seeing this tomorrow is the plan! Pretty excited actually since I saw the first trailer in theaters a month ago.

If you plan on seeing this movie, I suggest seeing it in 3D. I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice to see it any other way. The visuals are outstanding, top notch stuff. That being said though, I wasn't blown away by the movie at all. It was good, but not great.

I felt like the character development was kind of weak and the plot itself is very basic. Because of that, it was hard for me to feel any type of attachment to the characters. That's not to say that there aren't a lot of edge of your seat moments though, because there are. And Clooney and Bullock both do a great job with what they're asked to do. It just isn't a film that I'd see myself watching again. Once you see all the 3D effects, there isn't a whole lot to come back for. It's worth seeing once for the visuals though.

Would the 3D be bad for people who are prone to motion sickness? Seems like it could be iffy.

The only time I've ever experienced motion sickness is when I used to play certain games on the original Xbox, so I'm not really sure. I didn't have any issues watching the movie. If you're prone to it though, I suppose you could just see it in 2D. I don't think the film would have the same impact, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't get it a lot, but I wear glasses and wearing 3D glasses on top of them tend to **** with my head so I generally avoid 3D movies. Figured I'd check and see if you had any issues.

Lol. I wear glasses too, and I'm sure I look silly the 3D ones over the top of them, but I've gotta be able to see. Fortunately, they gave us big enough glasses that they fit over mine comfortably.

Yeah, it's terrible most of the time wearing both pairs of glasses. The dual-reflection that happens in certain scenes as it bounces off both glasses usually is what leads to my headaches.

Good to hear you didn't have any problems, though. Will make me consider going 3D with this one.

I didn't even know it was Bullock and Clooney until I saw a review yesterday. Not that it matters either way.

Good movie that I'll probably never see again. Not quite sure if A list actors were really necessary. They did a great job, but the degree of difficulty wasn't high.
