Comedy Bang! Bang!

Anybody who follows me on Twitter knows how much I've fallen in love with that damn podcast. Every freaking episode is hysterical.

The Ben Schwartz/Paul F. Tompkins one from a few weeks back is a decent place to start if you're interested.

I'm becoming addicted myself. I just wish he used Tompkins less. Really don't like that guy and it rules out about half the episodes. Maybe he'll annoy me less if I can't see his stupid face. I'll test out that theory with the Kristen Schaal episode.

Chris Jericho has a podcast now - Talk is Jericho

His first guest is Steve Austin and it's a two parter, with part two out today. I listened to part 1 and It wasn't bad at all. I'll keep checking it out.

Had anyone checked out the Ten Minute Podcast with Bryan Callen, Chris D'Elia and Will Sasso? Been wanting to give this one a try and wanted some other opinions.

Due to recommendations in the thread, I started listening to The Solid Verbal at the start of the college football season and it's fantastic. I am now a loyal listener.

The Dead Authors Podcast is ****ing hysterical, if the first episode I listened to today is any indication.

Hosted by Paul F. Tompkins (playing HG Wells), he interviews a different dead author or two every week (just comedians for the most part playing the character).

The one I just listened to, the latest one with Scott Aukerman playing Clement Clarke Moore (author of Twas the Night Before Christmas) and Neil Campbell playing Irving Berlin (composer of White Christmas), had me laughing so hard I was crying at one point.

The episode starts a little slow, but just give it time. Once it picks up steam it's amazing.

Started watching getting Doug with High recently. It's not bad.

The How Did This Get Made podcast is ok but I feel like Scheer and Rafie are too willfully obtuse at times and reach WAY to hard to make fun of certain things in movies.

Been awhile since I responded on this thread. I have some additions, and some deletions to my first post. First, I have abandoned ship on Sklarboro County/Country. Just not that interesting to me anymore. Way too much talk about the indie comedy scene with comedians I know little about. I have added 'Your Moms House' with Tom Segura and Christina (I'm not even gonna try and spell her last name) They are married and both comedians. A funny and interesting to listen to podcast. Also I have begun listening to Pointless with Kevin Periera. The dude who used to cohost with Olivia Munn on G4. A funny, fast paced cast about technology and pop culture.

Just discovered this thread. I recently started listening to podcasts. Right now I've been listening to:

Duncan Trussell's Family Fun Hour
Joe Rogan Experience
The Drunken Toaist
Hardcore History
Kevin Pereira Pointless

I've never understood podcasts but I have been listening to them a ton recently because it's like a tailor made talk show for yourself. Been funny and enlightening and I hope to discover more.

The Nerdist Podcast
Chris Hardwick is very good at getting guests to open up and have a good time on his podcast. They do some funny stuff too and generally have good guests.

The Around the League Podcast
This NFL podcast with NFL.com writers analyzes the biggest news in the NFL. The hosts have a good time and keep the length to a reasonable 30-50 minutes, unlike Richard Eisen's podcast, which is sometimes a dreadful 2+ hours.

How Did This Get Made?
Paul Scheer and Jason Mantzoukas from The League headline this podcast about bad movies. Along with June Diane Raphael, they dissect and question some of the worst movies ever made. It's even funny if you have never seen the movie being discussed.

Wait Wait... Don't tell me!
NPR's news quiz is funny and relevant. Comedian panelists answer news trivia and read hilarious quotes from the previous week.

Freakonomics Radio
Co-Authors of "Freakononics" discuss topics from an economist's point of view. They tend to have an interesting view on social issues and trends.
