Re: Podcasts
Just found this thread, and I'm looking for new ones to maybe add. I just switched from Doggcatcher to Pocket Casts. I've not gone through the rest of the thread, so I'll be doing that, but here's what I currently have:
Comedy Bang Bang
Deadcast (Deadspin)
My Brother, My Brother and Me
Polygon Minimap
Polygon Quality Control
Sawbones
Slate's Hang Up and Listen
Soccer Made in Portland (Timbers-centric soccer)
The Adventure Zone
The Besties (RIP you beautiful podcast)
The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart
The Solid Verbal
U Talkin' U2 To Me?
Mostly comedy (mostly McElroy-related podcasts, honestly), a few sports, and a just a few gaming podcasts. Any suggestions? I've tried the Giant Bombcast and it's not for me.Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: Podcasts
I'm looking for a good movie commentary podcast but not having any luck. Something similar to MST3k. I know Doug Benson and friends do this kind of thing but I don't think they're recorded. Anybody got anything or heard of anything?Alabama Crimson Tide

Re: Podcasts
Thanks man. And not just crap movies, necessarily. I just like hearing funny commentary about even movies I like. Puts some things into a different perspective. I realize these examples fall into the crap movie category, but Kevin Smith recently did a commentary track for Batman & Robin on his Fatman podcast, as well as the three previous films a while back. Those really made me laugh and are easy to follow along if you've seen the movie.Alabama Crimson Tide

And since you listen to The Solid Verbal, I'd recommend The Shutdown Fullcast. It's from the guys who write for Every Day Should Be Saturday. The audio quality isn't great, but its hilarious. They're on a break during the offseason though, so look for it when the season starts back up.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Podcasts
I like the podcast #Dork. It's about a multitude of different things. It's hosted by a Boston sports radio headlines guy, Rich Keefe. Most recent episode just launched tonight about best Baseball movies and all time starting line up. He's done others about all things Batman, Best HBO series, Marvel and DC in 2016, Making a Murderer, Worst Comic Book Movies, Summer TV, Fall TV.
Here's the description from iTunes:
Rich Keefe and his friends discuss movies, TV shows, video games, graphic novels, and other important things. Get in touch with the with the crew via email ([email protected]) and or twitter (@DORKpodcast).
And on the twitter right now they are doing #DORKMadness which is a march madness of superhero movies. 9 out of the 42 podcast aren't on iTunes but they can all be found here. https://archive.org/details/@keefe21Comment
