You and me both. Awesome show, with some of the most intense scenes in any medium.

It's my second favorite current show, besides Breaking Bad, of course.

Jeffrey Wright is a fantastic actor and I can't wait to watch him in this.

Domenick Lombardozzi (Herc from "The Wire") plays mobster Ralph Capone, older brother of Al.

i stopped watching the show in the middle of season 2. One time i was thinking about watching it again, but then i learned that Michael Pitt left after season two, so i just never went back. He was my favorite character and i thought that that the show wouldn't work without Jimmy in the picture. I saw him as taking the lead of the show, but he didn't.

So i ask you guys. Is the show still holding up or not? i'm thinking about catching up again, but i'm not sure.

I hated him leaving too, but I think season 3 might be my favorite so far. So it is definitely holding up.

It's hard for me to choose between Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and this.
They all are top notch though and in a tier all of their own, in regards to my favorite current shows.

In my opinion, BWE has the most interesting cast of characters on TV today (maybe even in history). I can't want to see some Harrow, Van Alden & Chalky. That's not even taking into account the guys who have already been killed off (who were all great in their own right). Pretty much every actor on this show has been brilliant and I can't wait to see what and who the new season brings.

If you stopped watching the show while Pitt (Jimmy) was still on, and decided not to go back when you heard that he left, I'm not sure BE was for you in the first place. I've always considered the show to be the sum of it's characters and wasn't part of the big protest after the season 2 finale.

Yes, season 3 was the best. The show has improved each year.

It sucks Michael Pitt isn't on the show anymore, but I didn't feel like it took that much away from Season 3. That's just my opinion anyway.

I'm mainly excited to see how Al Capone evolves in season 4.

It's hard to believe that this show is already entering season 4. Seems like yesterday I was watching Season 1 each week on HBO.

I guess Domenick Lombardozzi (Herc, "The Wire") is still on in a recurring role as Al Capone's older brother, although I can't find any new reference for his BE role other than the initial story that broke in mid February. His BE role does not show up on the IMDb.

Oh! Just spotted this shot on his Facebook page (I posted it earlier), so he's in.
