I don't really feel like this could work as a film really unless they change a lot of the dynamics of the printed version.

Hmmm....so to the non-Marvel follower, that teaser can make it really seem like IM converts into a villainous character named Ulton.

Addendum: after looking up a review of Ultron's history (as I haven't seen a comic in decades), I see that was actually one of the latter storylines, sort of, in a way. Jeez, there were like a dozen versions of Ultron!


According to this source, the actor playing Ultron (or I guess, the voice).....

Ultron is a robot/AI created by another Avenger, in the cinematic universe it will be created by Stark.

Created by Hank Pym, or Ant-Man/Giant-Man. Ultron in turn created the Vision to use him as a weapon against the Avengers.

Are they seriously having Stark create Ultron in the cinematic universe? I thought Marvel was making an Ant Man movie (which is Hank Pym) so he can easily be inserted into this Avengers sequel.

Glanced at Wiki and appears that Ant Man is coming out a month after Avengers in 2015...doubt there's a big tie in then.

Yup, Stark is making Ultron, I think Ant Man is phase 3, Doctor Strange too.
