Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Awesome trailer, have watched it at least 10 times already. Really like the creepiness in James Spader's voice. Curious to see if Josh Whedon's Quicksilver is as cool as Bryan Singer's in X-Men Days of Future Past. The Vision was my fave Avengers character back when I was reading, so I'm curious to see how his density-controlling abilities are portrayed. Definitely a lot of nerdgasmic pleasure-bringing opportunities for this movieHBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
I think the novelty of Singer's Quicksilver has worn off on me. I know there was a real cool factor about it, but he seemed incredibly fast.... almost too fast. It seems from the very small snippets in this trailer that he won't be so, making it more "credible" if that's even possible to fathom.Comment

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
I don't disagree with you totally regarding Quicksilver in the X-Men movie; he did seem a bit overpowered/too fast. I never really gave it much thought (and this is ridiculously nerdy), but if I imagine him as being fast enough to evade/move around bullets then it's conceivable he could be that fast. I really meant more how his speed was represented; felt like it really gave the illusion he was moving fast.
Now that would be highly nerdy.Comment

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
It looks like they are going to have Tony Stark be the guy who creates Ultron when in the comics it's Ant Man. I find that weird since they are making a Ant Man movie but aren't tying him in. Seems odd to add that character when it seems like didn't make Ultron.

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
The synopsis that Disney released said that Tony re-uses a dormant program, which people are taking to mean that it was something that Hank Pym originally designed. Also, it just makes sense to have Tony create Ultron on in the cinematic universe. They aren't beholden to every comic origin.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

P.S. Looks like Cumberbatch for Dr. Strange. Much better choice than Phoenix. Also, Rudd as Hank Pym --- we'll have to see. But, Evangeline Lily as the Wasp seems a definite.Last edited by daflyboys; 10-28-2014, 11:16 AM.Comment

Michael Douglas is Pym, Rudd is Scott Lang.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Black Panther could be pretty good if done right (meaning they strip away some of the overtly superhero stuff at least for the first movie and replace it with royal intrigues and such) though i've heard Chad Boseman's name attached. I dunno, seems this guy is slightly over exposed to me ever since 42.
If this was 10 or so years ago Don Cheadle would've been perfect for the part IMO.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
