Loki is great. Skull was mishandled. Winter Soldier was great.
Loki was great and the only one so far out of the Marvel movies worth mentioning. Can Winter Soldier really be called a villain?

Hopefully Thanos is handled well. Not to mention Spider-Man has one of the best rogues gallery when handled properly.

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Bought the 3D version yesterday, and watched it in two parts while napping in between (long day). The first half I watched in 2D (just about after the hideout scene), the second half in 3D. Don't ask why.

The picture is fine and the audio is clear, but damn is the dynamic range anemic! I wanted to keep turning it up, but I wasn't getting the right impact at certain times. I think I recall hearing the mix like that in theaters as well and just laying blame on that cinema or not paying attention to it, but now it's just messed up.

My sub didn't really seem to get any sub-20Hz workout either. Some decisions for bass usage were spotty and inconsistent as well. I want to give praise to the sound, but I just don't think I can. It's not that it sounds bad, it sounds perfectly clear and you'll never miss any dialogue. But if you play it at reference level, you will like the sounds of explosions much more in the first film than you will in this film just by the sheer impact of them. Here, it's really limited.

And Ultron made me laugh a few more times this time, but the whole time I just felt like it was Reddington from The Blacklist haha. James Spader the [voice] actor was the right choice here; James Spader the character was slightly bizarre.

Still gets a nod over Avengers 1 for me, even with what I feel are faults in the master audio mixing. They should have handed this bit over to the Paramount crew that works on Transformers and Star Trek.

The Thor hot tub time machine part was out of place for me.

I know what you mean, but I guess without that then the events that followed couldn't happen, etc, etc.

That's pretty surprising to hear. I thought that the bass in the theater I watched it in was pretty damn good so I was really looking forward to trying it out at home. I remembered a couple different times thinking that this was going to be shaking my house. I'll have to give it a shot soon.

It's not that bass isn't ever there, but you'll see. There are times you're going to want to crank the volume saying, "Why is the score so quiet?" It is just really bizarre, and frankly something that I wish they would do a recall for.

Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

So after going through all the hoops with disneyanywhere to get my digital HD copy I find out that the movie only streams in 720 on PC, but SD on Android devices(my tab3) That is a bit of false advertising as far as I'm concerned. I am not sure if its just the Disney app that limits the resolution or what but what is the point of no HD? It clearly says HD Digital Copy as selling point.

For those interested in the digital copy I included this link.

Watch movies online with Movies Anywhere. Stream movies from Disney, Fox, Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros. Connect your digital accounts and import your movies from Apple iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Xfinity, Google Play/YouTube, Microsoft Movies & TV, Verizon Fios TV, and DIRECTV. Download the app. Watch instantly or save offline for later. Available on mobile devices and your TV.

                  • Can I stream in high definition (HD)?

You can stream movies in HD (720p) through Disney Movies Anywhere with certain HD-compatible PC’s and a fast Internet connection speed. Disney Movies Anywhere will automatically display the best video quality based on your device’s capabilities, supported software installed on your device and your Internet connection speed.

HD streaming is not available on Mac computers, iOS, or Android portable devices.

                  • Are movie downloads through the Disney Movies Anywhere app standard definition or high definition?

Downloading within the iOS version of the Disney Movies Anywhere app is currently available in standard definition (SD). SD movies are approximately 1-3 GB. Downloading in iTunes is available in SD or high definition (HD). Please refer to iTunes for file size information.
Downloading from the Android version of the Disney Movies Anywhere app is available in both SD and HD. SD movies are approximately 1-3 GB. HD movies are approximately 2-6 GB.
The size of the movie file will vary based on the length of the movie.
Currently, downloading is not offered through the Disney Movies Anywhere website, the Amazon Fire TV and Kindle, Android TV, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Roku Disney Movies Anywhere apps.

Got this movie the day it came out and watched the special features they are weak though lol. I saw this movie 2 times in theaters and liked it slightly more then the first one. The first one I find to be one of the most overrated CBM ever though because there for the most part are 5 movies I hear people talk about when they say what is the best CBM ever? Those are iron man, sm2, dark knight, superman and avengers. While I like the first one it is good but not even close to great and not even a top 10 CBM. I also find iron man to be very overrated to. Iron man I don't even have in the top 15 CBM of all time. Avengers I thought had a better villain then this movie but I thought the action in this one was better then the first one and I also thought this movie was much funnier then the first one.

One thing I'll give the first movie is that it was much funnier than this one. I can't recall the laughs in the sequel. Tony calling out someone playing Galaga in Avengers 1 tops anything any of these films can do.

Agreed. Even the Hulk had 2 of the best laugh out loud moments in A1.
