I thought Barry was cocky because he felt the Speed Force "chose" him, so he couldn't lose.

I tend to attribute some of Barry's actions, like him pleading with Zoom instead of trying to launch an offensive, as him just being young and inexperienced.

You can't be like, "im professional, I know what im doing"

Then when the job comes

"ah please mr zoom, please dont hurt me shucks"


Zoom already beat Barry up. He doesn't even care to fight him anymore, he just owns him every single time by taking somebody else because Barry turns into a wuss-sicle every time

I'd say the real inexperience is when Zoom beat the snot out of him and he realized he never learned how to fight.

Zooms not even trying anymore, he just keeps doing the same thing over and over no matter what plan Barry comes up with.

Starting to make him look kinda slow... no pun intended

I did not expect this ending at all; when he went in the warp, I thought it was more like he learned/knew how to go to a different earth and wanted to see his doppleganger-dad, not go back and fix everything from the beginning! I felt like it was a surety that Barry would even get hurt/killed or something by Thawne as that scene progressed.

So a couple of speculation/questions:

There's 5 Barrys in a 1-mile radius:

Young Barry, Barry that's fighting Thawne, Barry that went back in S1 to save his mom, Barry from S1 that went back to stop Barry from saving his mom...and S2 Barry just now.

Wonder where the Barry was that stopped S1 Barry?
Barry from S1 that was going to save his mom faded...why?
Barry from S2 didn't fade; this means he still becomes Flash somehow?

I don't think so. DC has already made it clear that the cinematic universe and the TV universe are completely separate. Why muddy the waters? They're going to have enough problems getting a quality product off the ground.

I think it's Jay. Those cells were made to keep speedsters in. However, I don't think Jay is played by the same actor that plays Zoom.

I know that. What I mean is the man in the mask could be the actual Jay Garrick and be played by a different actor. Earth 1 Star Labs had no idea who Jay Garrick is. Hunter Zolomon came through, said he was Jay Garrick, and they were like oh, ok. Even now that they know he's Hunter Zolomon, they keep calling him Jay.

That's where it gets confusing. Barry became the Flash by being in the crime lab during the explosion, Barry was in the crime lab because he was part of the police department, Barry joined the police department to help prove his dad didn't kill his mom, Season 2 Barry saved his mom so there is no innocence to prove.
