Dany probably won't do much more this season. She needs to stay where she is and get those slave cities in order. She needs to continue building her army also. Like they said, the realm is going to support whoever has the best chance to win. She's not there yet.

Yes I understand that part, but if she is trying to win Oberyn to her cause, what is she using to manipulate him? He still blames her family and Tywin for the death of Elia and her children. He has no love for the Lannisters and the fact that Tywin has already promised him The Mountain's head if he votes guilty. He came to Kings Landing to get revenge as he has stated numerous times. She has nothing to manipulate him with, her daughter is a ward in Dorne under the protection of the Martell's. I just didn't get it maybe I need to rewatch and pay more attention to the dialogue.

As for the three judges, Mace Tryrell has already been declared nothing more than a puppet that will do what Tywin wants, Oberyn has also agreed to side with Tywin. For me it just seemed like a double redundant filler scene.

HEY! HEY GUYS! I THINK WE GOT A

And by that, I mean WIN. All the damn cheers for the Stark boys! Right thru your head and out of your mouth, mutha****er! I really wanted them to have a short reunion too, but that's too much happy for this show.

But before all that "FINALLY, THE GOOD GUYS GOT ONE" feeling, did I hear that right when Lysa basically said this whole mess started because of her and Littlefinger?

Jon is becoming Rob Stark. It's in the blood.
But Jon said Robb was a better swordsman than him, so can't be all too bad. Certainly doesn't have as much naivete, seems like.

After the built up Locke the past few episodes and the scenes with Jaime, the way he dies is disappointing. I wanted him to go toe to toe with Jon Snow or the knife guy. The knife fight was average. The point about the Valaryan Steel Sword is true. They build it up, but when it's being used it's no different than any other sword. As cool as a guy with two knifes could be, he just seems at a large disadvantage against a guy with a longer weapon.

The Baelish/Eryie scenes were the best part this episode. Of course, I'm biased because Baelish is my favorite character.

The episode was showing Cersei playing the Game. Unfortunately for her as seen in the episode everyone see's through her BS. While Tywin was the only one to call her out, Margaery pushed an abundance of Cersies' buttons ex: playing ignorant about Tommen, calling her "Sister"(I thought s**t was about to go down) then following it up with "Mother".

She played the sympathy revenge card with Oberyn, but his look after the convo read: What TF was that.

Typical Cersei, thinking she's smarter than she actually is. At least her care for her daughter is genuine.

Love the Pod and Brienne scenes. As well as anything involving Arya and the Hound. Including his scoffing at the notion of Syrio not having a sword when he died.

Black comedy at its best. Making me laugh at confirming my favorite character's death.

And man, when someone said this story could be called "If only..." they weren't kidding. The entire plot of the show got kicked off by Lysa. If Jon Arryn doesn't die, Robert never rides north with Cersei, Bran never seen Jamie and her porking, and everyone can stick around being content until the White Walkers come and kill everyone.

Except Ned wouldn't have been content. Benjen or some other rangers would have still gotten lost beyond the wall (due to Wildlings or Others or whatever). The conflict with Mance Rayder and the wildlings would have still happened due to the Others pushing them south, and Winterfell would have gotten wind of all of this a lot earlier. Ned and his bannermen would have undoubtedly made preparations for the coming of Winter. It was the story before the story.

Re: Syrio - in the show I believe you hear a blood curdling scream after Arya runs away and she stops to turn and look when she hears him scream. I took that has confirmation that he was killed.

The Locke character/storyline was just plain weird especially having him killed off like that. While it was cool to see Bran warg into Hodor and kill Locke, I expected much more out of that angle since it didn't exist in the book. I guess now that we've seen how it was tied up things can somewhat get back in line with what happens in the book.

Well the double knife guy fought in allies and tight quarters where the double knives would have a huge advantage.

I don't get what the big deal is about the Valaryan Steel. Seems like the difference between a Ginsu Butcher knife and a Kitchen Aid Butcher Knife. So the Ginsu can slice through a Coke can, you still have to do the work yourself. Its not like a magic dancing sword that takes control of your hand to some extent and adds +3 to hit on the 20 sided dice.

He'll wait for someone else to amass an army and then pull the strings. He wants to rule without anyone knowing he's ruling. No sense putting a target on your back when you can reap the rewards without the title.
