I guess you're right, especially when talking about a TV show. The problem in the movie threads is that one is created before a movie is released and then the discussion continues after release when not everyone has necessarily seen it. Makes sense there, but not so much in a TV thread.

However, I'm one not to watch a preview of the next week's show for a particular TV show that I'm into. So spoilers for something like that would be appreciated.

I did not see that coming, but when Brody goes into sad mode and starts questioning his incredible (and implausible) achievement, I'm glad it came.

Brody's most incredible achievement was assassinating the Vice President of the United States and the show never bringing it up again.

Connected to it, but still seperate, I think Brody's greatest achievement was maintaining unfettered access to the VP when the CIA knew he was at one point a mole trying to kill the VP.

Didn't like the finale. Thought not only did it have all the problems that plagued the show all season, but it was also extremely boring.

The one positive was that they wrapped a lot up and can hopefully start fresh next season and I can hope it gets better.

Yeah, she does have that pouting cry baby face. Personally, I think the series would have been better without her mental condition.

Saul was not a good character, IMO. What was interesting about him? He was really, really bad at his job. Toward the end I found myself agreeing with Senator Lockhart all the time, "what are you idiots doing here? You think that stupid idea is going to work?"

I understand that his plan ultimately "worked" but that doesn't make the thought process/decision making to get there any less insane. And I haven't even touched on how poorly he handled Brody, the asset, in S2.

I know I'm a little late on the "realism" argument, but what makes this season so less "realistic" than previous seasons? I work with military intelligence all the time and I can tell you without going into too much detail that the whole counterterrorism angle with Brody this season happens ALL THE TIME abeit on a much, much smaller scale.

The problems with this show don't lie in implausibility, rather than poor writing and annoying characters imo. I really enjoyed watching Brody this season and in the series in general. I also think Saul is a pretty awesome character too who really shined despite the writing. It will be sad not having them as regulars.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."
