Weird episode.

I didn't mind it. Interesting first episode to the half of the season. Works for me. I have a feeling the first few will be like this with everyone broken up.

until/unless they meet Abraham and Eugene. I assume they'll meet them in about the 3rd or 4th episode. And i gotta think that at the end of this half we need to be introduced to Negan.

I liked Michonne's side of the episode even though the dream sequence was disorienting. Still gave a little insight we havent seen to this point into the character.

Carl just had to go through the teen rebellion and realization/appreciation storyline all within one episode. Felt rushed to me. Seems like something they've been cooking for a long time to end in that? Idk. Maybe being the premier episode of the new half has me taking it the wrong way. Maybe had I binge watched this on netflix before this episode it would have felt smoother. But I havent seen the show since the finale last year.

Overall, felt like a filler, since nothing really happened. Weird to come back on a filler.

Anytime Carl gets substantial screen time is a big downer on the show.

I thought the show was pretty decent. Nice to see some back story on Michonne and her original "pets." I'm not the biggest fan of Carl and they did go from i don't need you to I'm a man and i need my father and he needs me.

Not exactly what I was expecting, but I thought it was decent. Didn't really expect a lot to happen tonight. Figured it would be more of a character intensive episode after what happened at the prison.

Hopefully Carl now realizes he cannot handle himself and becomes less annoying.

I really liked the Michonne scenes, and finally getting some insight on her past. The shots of her wandering with the Walkers was really well done, I think.

I've never liked Carl, so those scenes just didn't interest me. How many times is he going to fall trying to back up???

Yeah I think another two groups are going to find each other. Eventually they'll all meet up, possible bloody battle, and then end the season with a new conflict leading into Season 5.

I enjoyed the episode.

I really enjoyed the flashback with Michonne. Was cool to finally get some insight on a little of her past, and connect some of the dots with the way she reacted to certain things in the past. Also, thought the lapse of time in that sequence was super eerie and really well done.

Also, Carl is annoying as ****. Haha

I don't know how you guys feel like Carl sucks. He's been a badass for a solid season now, any annoyance I had with him was reflected off on to Rick.

Until last night's episode though. Complete 180 back to his baby boy days...

The final scene was nice though. I felt as relieved as they were, I was cheesing when Rick was geeking out before he told Carl the door was for him.

That's where my annoyance with him lies. He acts like a bad ***, but he's not at all.
