Re: Arrow (Season 2)
It was implied at the end of episode 1. But then, Ollie isn't exactly the brightest of heroes....it's actually refreshing to see that. He's quite emotional, was never implied to be smart, (just competent, and the island had a major part in transforming him into said competence) and has a disturbing amount of flaws not the least of which includes a surprising amount of self centeredness (probably deserved because was in a constant life or death situation for 5 years) that gets called out quite often.
I love this show.
She is the hottest chick on this show. Dem glasses man. And the fact that she's just adorable in all of her accidental innuendosComment

It will be interesting to see if they do it but there is a great turning point in the comics where he disagrees and argues with the Justice league that sets up a kind of gods vs man angle. They won't use the justice league but this could play into how they are introducing the Flash and his superpowers to a non super powered world. Green Arrow and the Flash will square off near the end of the season only to reconsile and fight Brother Blood. They could also use the Summer Glau character in connection with his arrest (if he doesn’t get out clean from the current situation) to take away his fortune, which also happened in the comics setting him up as a champion of the underprivileged.Comment

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
Good episode.
Spoiler
Interesting adding ra's al ghul to the mix. Doubt we ever see him but that could make for a weird love triangle angle. And bringing him back kind of hints that we may not have seen the last of Tommy.
Brother Blood looked sick in the scenes from next episode.Last edited by Dogslax41; 10-24-2013, 12:11 PM.Comment

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
After seeing the good reviews on this website about "Arrow", i decided to give it a go. Well, not gonna lie, i got hooked right away. I love the "island" side story, and how it changed his life. I like the character of Olive. He's not know it all, and knows his flaws (well, some of them). The show has some corny lines, and stuff, but who cares, every show has them. At least they're not at the "Agents of Shields" level.
Really good show. Took me about 2 weeks to catch up with the TV. Going to keep watching and i hope it gets better. I also like how they have character from Gotham like Deadshot, and how they know the existence of Gotham. Somewhat showing that they might bring people from the Batman series to Starling City and play some guest parts in "Arrow"MLB: Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves
NBA:Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
It's one of the better shows on TV imo(probably best on TV for me), I do think it probably benefits from the source material not being as familiar with people as say Batman tho.Last edited by Chrisksaint; 11-01-2013, 08:23 AM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
A) Blindsided/Caught unaware
or
B) Untrained *******es?
Not to mention she has a weapon and they don't?
Or are you talking about Laurel taking down one guy before getting put in her place right after or that one time she showed she knows her way around a gun (specifically a shotgun in close quarters)?
I have no idea where you're getting that complaint from...Comment

You mean a grown woman that's trained to kill people by some of the best martial artists in the world going against men who are either

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
Maybe you haven't been paying attention. One chick is a daughter of a cop and I believe was mentioned to have taken a few classes or something. Another was trained some by Oliver and is the daughter of a mob boss. Finally one freaking knows Ra's Al Ghul supposedly.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
