I feel kind of in that boat, but for me it's not a chore to watch, unlike Fringe and Almost Human (before it got cancelled) were for me. I can even binge-watch Gotham, so it seems (that's how I had to catch up five episodes).

Really though, I like the human aspects of the show. I can't take the crazy antics that I was hoping the show exactly wouldn't have, when characters are a little over-the-top (Cobblepot's mom is a perfect example). That's why I'm glad Fish calmed down a lot.

So far, Maroni is my favorite character. Cobblepot is best when being played as a fragile underdog. Also starting to like Alfred since Selina started staying with Bruce; I also like Selina and Bruce's relationship so far. I feel bad for Nygma, hope somebody other than Gordon and Bullock can give a crap about anything he has to say, although I'd like if he toned it down too because he's playing a bit over-the-top as well.

I think this series needs to learn from V and other shows that got cancelled. Do you guys think that there's anything that could force this series to be cancelled?

The amount villains being introduced. It seems like we are getting a different one every week. Also that they are being forgotten the next week. I mean I can only think of 4 villains that have been on multiple episodes. Those are the 2 crime families (Maroney and Falcone), Penguin, and the Electrocutioner. I'm including Nygma because he hasn't been seen as the Riddler fully yet. Just him giving Riddles to people.

          What about Victor Zsasz?

And I agree, the "villain per week" quota should not be met by any standards necessarily. Prolong a person's stay and continue the main story arc that continues to develop Gordon and the people around him. Maybe that's the inhuman problem I have with the show so far.

Yep forgot about Zsasz. But yea for like 2 or 3 episodes give us the same villain. I like it because I have never read any of the comics. I have only seen the Dark Knight trilogy and played the Arkham games. So I don't know many of the characters. And I would like to more about these guys from the TV show. Like I had no idea who the BalloonMan or Venom were.

This week's episode did pretty well got a 2.2, with a viewership of 6.43 million. The 2.2 was tied for highest in the 8-9 time slot. It was tied with 2 Broke Girls on CBS but 2 Broke Girls had the higher viewership at 8.89 million. It did better than the Apprentice and the Bachelor.

Yeah, I was just kidding. It's kind of a moot point for awhile. Gotham has been renewed.

I don't know. Fish showed a lot more of a human side then Falcone did. At least in this episode. Fish was going pretty easy on Falcone, if we're using the Mob Boss Scale.

I'm not blaming you for this at all. But damn it, a couple of nights ago I watched what I thought was like 95% of the episode. And I read what you had under the spoiler tags. Damn it.

You couldn't really blame him if he didn't use spoiler tags.

You open a lot of presents before Christmas?

I know I was just a little pissed at myself for it. I think I had like 5 minutes left and I wouldn't have missed much but obviously I did. And I have done that before found some hidden presents when I was like 13.

This show keeps bringing out The Wire side characters. I can't believe Clay Davis went out like that.

So, what are the prospects for Joker? Wasn't a possible candidate supposed to appear in most of the episodes?

As for Gordon I feel like he has maneuvered fairly well. He's brash, bull headed, and righteous, but he seems to know where and when to show his cards and when to bluff. He was only in the Arkham pit for one episode after all. Plus, it's not like he changes much as he gets older. He's always been the strong, moral compass for Gotham. Joker couldn't even break him.
