I agree, I enjoyed some of the early seasons of Smallville but hope this on the more mature/darker side.

I'm not sure how I feel about it, I love Batman but not sure about just Bruce Wayne.

I think it will really depend on how they handle the up and coming of the villains.

I still wish we could have gotten a Smallville-style show about a young Bruce Wayne but this sounds like it could be really good.

I feel like it'd be very similar to Green Arrow.

I thought the same thing...just in reverse:

When I started watching Arrow, I was like - "So this is what a Batman version of Smallville would be like."

I think I need to start watching that. I was skeptical at first and wasn't ready to take it seriously but I've only heard good things about it.

There's some pretty ****ing cheesy acting.

Which is to be expected, it's a CW show. If you can get past that, it's a terrific show.

The fighting is good, the story is flowing nicely (and since not many people are as familiar with Green Arrow as they are with Batman, they're allowed to make some small changes without everyone going into an uproar).

Oh, I agree, the episodes I've watched were actually pretty good.

He just said he's only heard good things. I figured I'd give him a bad thing - the CW has terrible ****ing acting at some points. This show does not break that mold.

Except if Jodie Foster is in it. He doesn't die if Jodie Foster is in it.
