Probably not, since nobody else has aged any. That wouldn't make any sense for Bruce to gain 15 years?

You're right. Lol. I just can't deal with a 12 year old Bruce Wayne. Nothing about him says Bruce Wayne. Lol. Just a personal issue I guess.

It's a good thing this show isn't about Bruce Wayne then.

But really it is right? There's no "Gotham" without Batman.

This is a crime drama about Jim Gordon. In this show there is no Batman. Just a kid who's parents got killed.

Yeah, but it really wants to showcase the formative years of Batman, and I'm not sure this kid was a great choice.

I'm with TripleCrown, I dont think it does. I think any of you struggling with this Bruce are looking for something that the show isn't.

I see it as a crime drama that also gives a bit of nostalgia and loose connection to Batman... mostly bc it wouldn't stand up on it's own, but also bc it is meant to be in that slightly unrealistic, graphic novel type of world.

But most importantly, it's definitely more about Gordon than Wayne.

Yea go read the IMDB page it says, "The story behind Commissioner James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival." This show is more about Gordon's rise to become commissioner then Bruce becoming Batman.

I never said it wasn't MORE about Gordon, but you can't escape the importance of the kid you grows up to be Batman.

The struggle is justified. He's not a recurring. He's a significant character on the show.

He is a significant character. All I'm saying is if I think about the show from a batman perspective, I can see being frustrated at his character. I don't look at the show from that perspective and it all fits into place. As a side story I think they have just enough of him... and considering the character, he doesn't really leave me wanting too much more of him anyway.
