Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Ya, once you know the amount of episodes in the season it's easy to figure out how many people would be left in the finals.
Hopefully the winner doesn't ruin peoples overall thoughts on the season, cause while it wasn't better than blood vs water, it was still real good, the best all new players season the show has had in a number of years.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Did not see that coming... but then again I think Woo would win against either of the two if we have an angry jury.
EDIT: TONY IS COOKED HAHAHA
EDIT2: Holy **** Spencer
EDIT3: welp, the right one took the prize...in a landslide tooLast edited by kingkilla56; 05-21-2014, 10:12 PM.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
I liked it because it was a new thing they tried out. Other than the interview with Parv though, none of the other things were actually that good, especially that awkward interview with the kids(lol, and Jeff walking right past Cochran twice without even acknowledging him)
Woo did make a horrible decision, and it seemed like he would rather lose to the best, than beat the worst. Seems like he was playing the whole "bitter jury win" type thing where he thought the jury was bitter,so it wouldn't matter if he faced Tony or Kass cause he'd win,so he might as well bring Tony along with him,and in the off chance that wasn't the case,at least he could say he lost to the best of the season. Still though...Tony-Woo in final 2! That's what I've been hoping for in the past month or two!
Survivor NEEDS a celebrity season. There's so many celebrity fans of the show, they'd have more than enough people to fill the 16-18! Also...was that Alexis sitting next to Sarah at the reunion show? I didn't even recognize her, I spent like 15-20 minutes just wondering who did I forget from the season cause I don't remember anyone looking like that.
Next season,I guess we'll just call it "Blood vs Water 2" because "San Juan del Sur" doesn't sound catchy. Don't get why they don't go back to locations they haven't been to in awhile instead of filming 11 seasons in just 3 countries.Go back to Borneo,Australia,New Zealand and stuff like that if they want to revisit places. Despite rumors,Season 30 unfortunately sounds like it could just be another Nicaragua like season(based on interview Jeff did) which would suck if true cause it's the 15th anniversary season.Last edited by Majingir; 05-22-2014, 12:25 AM.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
I wonder if Spencer got Tony the votes?
Did they not have a vote your favorite this year?
Woo picked Tony because if he didn't, then his whole game goes away and he did nothing else but play the honest, loyal player. If he lost that, he could say nothing.
I didn't like the show, but I was able to fast forward through all the studio stuff.
I don't think they would do a celebrity show because there are already shows just like that. I'm a celebrity get me out of here or something like that.

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Spencer's speech helped but I think that landslide meant Tony had it all the way. Seems like Woo got 2 Votes only.
Not choosing Kass will haunt Woo's dreams for a while. Tony just had the strongest resume especially when put against Woo's none existent one. Woo did nothing but follow Tony all the way up to the finale, even bringing Tony with him to final council, and it cost him. Woo was too loyal in the end.
I look forward to the next season. I like having complete new people on the cast, no celebs, no allstars, no redemption for former cast members. Save Tasha and LJ and Cliff Robinson for another time. I like blank slate casts.Comment

According to Survivor wikia site, Tasha was the only one to vote for Woo.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
I think you are missing how much the jury hated Kass. Listen to their statements again at the final TC, they keep saying Kass was one of the least deserving players ever to potentially make it to the final TC.
Everyone saw what Kass did and then would act like she didn't do anything. They all saw through he act. Tony while he did backstab people, he never hid it. Kass would try to stir up trouble and sit back and watch. She tried to play people and never was really in an alliance.
Woo would have easily been able to beat her because she never did anything other than turn against her alliance once. After that move, she just tried to cause problems and then play victim after people called her on it.Comment

Re: Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty
Sometimes I wonder if thats a legit poll or if theyre just rubbing salt in the wound that Woo made a bad choice. If Woo took Kass instead and won it would have been a terrible ending as Kass did far more then Woo did considering Woo did absolutely nothing the entire game. I enjoyed the season, just finished watching the finale and thought Tony had the best chance of winning against anyone not named Spencer so having it pan out with him winning wasnt a real shocker.
Woo wasn't gonna win against Tony, but his reasoning could've been abit better. He kept saying he brought Tony because Tony deserved it. He was missing the big piece of that statement. He should've said "Tony deserved to sit beside him in the final 2 way more than Kass does". But the way he worded it, made it sound like he was saying Tony deserves to win the game(which was true, but still...)
And Morgans statement at tribal followed by her answer during the live reunion.....lol,she flat out admits everything gets handed to her and there's nothing wrong with that.Comment
