I don't know how the older woman thought it was better to be 3 with the other 2 women. You have to win a challenge to stay in the game. If they don't merge at 3, you are then going home next. With the 2 guys, you would have a chance to win a challenge even at 3.

I think that was her plan all along - until Garrett opened his mouth at the Tribal Council.
But who knows? She must have thought that if she voted off J'tia that eventually it would be the 2 boys and her left, and she'd be the odd man out. At least now she has a chance.

Part of me wonders how scripted this show is.
Was Garrett so confident that he was staying that didn't feel the need to bring his immunity idol?
I would probably think the same if in his shoes. I mean, the most useless contestant on the island just threw away a months worth of food so you would think you'd be safe.
But still, I'm not sure I'd ever go into a tribal council without having that idol just in case.
I wonder who finds the idol? If J'Tia does, then I'm yelling "fix!".

It does seem strange he didn't bring the idol,especially when you know for a fact that 2/5 remaining people won't be voting with you and 1 is the swing vote, why wouldn't you bring the idol? Not scripted,just stupid move.

I do wonder how exactly the brain tribe will survive with basically no food. Even though Survivor says they don't help people on the island, I can see them indirectly helping the brain tribe, like at the next challenge one of the rewards is an extra bag of rice or something.

They will let them go as long as they physically can. If the stop getting water, then they would merge or redo tribes. They give them fresh water, so they don't have to have fire like in the past right? If so, they can make it to the merge without food.

They cannot win a challenge now unless it is pure skill. They have 1 guy, so physical stuff is out. Swimming they have J'Tia, so very slow. Puzzles they better not let J'Tia do any again. The other tribes can also pick the members they want, so they will be better.

Unless Im mistaken wouldnt the immunity idol have been useless for Garrett if he brought it with him anyway? I thought you could only use it before the votes were read?

Ya, but maybe he wanted to use it before the votes were even read....You never know. But since he knew he didn't have the idol with him, that thought never crossed his mind while at tribal.

I think he had 100% certainty that he wasn't getting voted off, which was obviously stupid. It would have been an even bigger joke if he had it on him though lol.

He just dug his own grave between strong arming the camp from talking outside of his presence to flapping his gums to the extreme in the tribal. The guy was terrible hahaha. The old lady flipped her vote right as he was speaking for sure.

The "brains" tribe has to be the dumbest tribe I have ever seen. Practicing tossing water with coconuts when you have zero idea what the challenge is going to be like...genius.

As much as I hate the brain tribe, that was actually smart. The clue really hinted at that type of challenge and it's been done on many seasons of Survivor before. When they were practicing, I actually got scared they'd win a challenge now.

But then Brain tribe messed up as usual....they were practicing at camp having J'Tia throw the water to Tasha, but then at the actual challenge, they have Tasha throwing the bucket to J'Tia who throws the water to Kass? Kass should've started, then Spencer catches toss from Kass,Spencer tosses to J'Tia and she throws water to Tasha. Brain tribe is ironically horrible at strategy

And then Beauty tribe loses and Brice is gone!? One of those 2 girls who isn't Morgan should've went. If I were Jeremiah, I would've gotten LJ to ditch the girls and join up on the Morgan/Brice alliance. Now they put themselves at an insanely risky situation, a possible all girls alliance(since every season there's always girls who want to do that and it's annoying!). This is first season EVER where first 3 people out are all guys.

And next weeks preview......:

Ive been thinking, what part about "Beauty" is suppose to be a benefit in the game? I get the concept of Brawn and Brains for competition and strategy. But beauty? Are they suppose to be able to seduce their way threw challenges or something? lol

I shouldn't think too much about it since brains has done nothing to show the advantages of brains. Its funny that the Brawn is like a superteam that will most likely end up killing themselves with treachery and betrayal moreso than anything the other tribes could do.

I think the male cop is eventually gonna bite off more than he can chew. What was the point of taking the hint? He should have left it but kept an eye on who got it, thus planting seeds that that person was searching thus should be cut. All the while knowing he has it. That would be a perfect way to get any heat off of him and onto someone else. Since he is so hell bent on cutting Cliff, he should have figured out a way to get Cliff to find it, thus start the seeds of doubt in others about him. That would have been smarter than hording a clue to the thing you already have.

I like Cliff and would hate to see him get tossed.

Sorry but in 1 hour you are not going to be able to develop the muscle memory that you need to consistently throw the water in a solid stream from a cylinder. They could practice what they needed to do but they still weren't going to execute it at the challenge. Not to mention for all that practice they were the worst group at the first half of the challenge.

Additionally, if you are the "brains" tribe shouldn't at some point the concept of centripetal force dawn on you and the concept of flipping the bucket to use gravity to keep the water in the bottom of the bucket dawn on you.

That tribe is just a complete disaster from top to bottom.

Spencer would have driven me nuts at this point. I feel like I would have been kicked off for violence if I was in his tribe. He's that typical know it all that throws in snide condescending comments criticizing your opinion or what you are doing but doesn't do a think to help resolve the issue.

J'Tia is just flat out worthless. She can't do ANYTHING right. And on top of that she's unstable. Good person to keep around instead of a dude that was just stupid and thought he was in charge.

Tasha throws hissy fits whenever she doesn't immediately get her way with what ever hair brain scheme she has come up with.

Kass (I believe) came up with the genius idea of kicking off Spencer and keeping it just girls. Yep that seems like a sound strategy for a game with occasional physical challenges.

I can't believe that the brawn tribe is the one that's the most even keeled. They aren't getting any show time because they are just going about their business and executing. I guess its the year of the meathead, considering their performance and the winner of SyFy's Opposite Worlds (If you didn't see it, don't go back and watch it).

There's more to the game then just challenges. Beauty is supposed to represent the social aspect of the game. It's easier for attractive charismatic people to get others to like them and do what they want.

Additionally, if you are the "brains" tribe shouldn't at some point the concept of centripetal force dawn on you and the concept of flipping the bucket to use gravity to keep the water in the bottom of the bucket dawn on you.

That would require them to catch the bucket right side up and from what I saw they had a hard enough time just catching the bucket period.
